The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean. Parking was free. Candies in the room. Extra pillows. Restaurant food was tasty.

The room smelled with humidity a bit, the toilet door had a gap through which everything could be seen. The tiniest TV I've seen and hanging too high up which distorted the quality of watching.

Very little privacy for such a remote place, room rather small and lookout onto camping space and restaurant terrace with people passing by all the time and no useful curtains to keep the view free but private. Hotel pictures deliberately leave that out. Always many people around and often no available parking for hotel guests. Very warm in room with no real solution to cool it down - a fan was presented that did not really make a difference. Sauna is rented out certain times making hotel guests unwelcome in one of the only relaxing places on site. Staff was reasonable friendly but after a 7 night stay did not even ask at checkout if we had a good stay. In the restaurant they were complicated about letting us choose a different table claiming all tables are reserved even though nobody else showed up all evening. Likely good for a short stopover, not recommended for a longer stay looking for nature and relaxation.

Excellent breakfast, staff was very friendly, facilities were top class and the restaurant was great. The whole place gave the sense of hospitality and a genuine feeling that everyone was proud of where they worked.

I really have no notes but if something could be improved it would be to have some sodas and sparkling water to purchase for to-go. That’s basically it 😊

Gorgeous setting. Staff were so welcoming and positive. Views over fields and easy walk to Lake. Room was cosy/small..but clean and comfy. Breakfast excellent.. and the restaurant meal was fabulous..as was the service

Beautiful peaceful - fabulous setting Fabulous food and service

We stayed here as a stopover on our way to Stockholm. The location was lovely, with a cute little beach and a sauna, and the staff were very friendly. There was plenty of parking, and it was easy to continue our trip from there. While our dog wasn’t allowed indoors, she was welcome to join us for a drink on the terrace.

Breakfast was quite basic and the room was little small for the price.

Bauergården is in a beautiful rural setting near a lake. The property is well maintained. The breakfast buffet was ample - not quite as extensive as some of the other properties we stayed at in Sweden, but provided more than sufficient and definitely far exceeded my expectations by North American standards. Lots of healthy, fresh options. Good assortment of teas and juices. Loved being able to sit outside on the patio to eat breakfast and soak in the beautiful setting.

The room was way way too small. It was the size of a double bed, with a little bit of space on either side. We could barely access our luggage. Bathroom also very tiny with no place to leave/place toiletries. It just want not comfortable to not be able to easily navigate the space without tripping over/crawling over things to get to doors/light switches, etc. And I would have liked/appreciated slightly higher quality towels (a minor preference of mine, and in the grand scheme of things, doesn't really affect the stay). I am sure there are rooms of different sizes on the property. I would encourage the property to convert this room to just a single room, as it just didn't make for a very comfortable stay with more than one person in this space.

Great location near the forest and the lake, excellent, friendly service, totally awesome food in the restaurant, rental of boats and canoes, good parking, pet friendly, clean room, comfortable bed. Room was a bit small, no real space for the luggage, but all in all, an excellent deal in a great place! Included free use of the washing machine and dryer at the campsite, and recovery of our little who had gone stray!

It was clean, but under the bed there was a little bit of dust, but nothing to worry about. Overall perfect

Beautiful setting, good food

Our standard double room was tiny with barely enough space to walk around the double bed and no space on floor to keep suitcases if they were too big to slide under bed. Also quite warm despite outside temperature in the low 20s C and having fan on + open window. Lots of camper vans on site as well so some noise from moving vehicles and people outside in the evening.

Always love staying here. Great staff, amazing location and excellent food

This time it was just disappointing to not be told in advance that there was a wedding function. So we could not get food on arrival after a long journey and had to drive into town.
