On the other side, there are plenty of little things that don't really work. First the streets around the hotel have a surprising amount of traffic, with the associated noise. The private parking spaces are at an angle, on a slope, and there's very little room to manoeuver between the buildings. There was a wardrobe in the room but no coat hooks, and the bathroom lacked both hooks and shelves. If you book the room with separate (but private) bathroom, be aware that the bathroom is on the other side of the building -- you have to walk past the building entrance with its large window panes. Finally there's no reception, and the button on the door to call someone rang an incorrect number...

Oh that one's complicated to rate. On one side it was cheap and clean. It's a very basic hotel, but it works. It's well located, near the central square, supermarkets, restaurants, etc and a short walk from the harbour. The free private parking is a nice touch.

Unfortunately, I'm still waiting since more than 4 weeks on a (business) invoice from the hotel with a "back and forth ping pong" between booking.com and the hotel, just finger pointing at one another.

Good location in the center of Karlshamn incl. free parking inside a gate. Checkin via phone / or in person depending the time of the day. Building, rooms and parking lot easy accessible via pin codes. Kitchen equipped with all the needed tools. Washing machine either in room or a shared one available. If needed, free pass for the gym next door. Bigger supermarket 2 minutes away by foot and some more different restaurants around.

It was very nice to get the opportunity to leave my luggage in the hotel up to 4 p.m, because I should take a boat to Lituania only at 7 p.m.

Check in was a bit confusing due to lack of reception. Rang the doorbell a few times but didn't get an answer. However, when we rang the provided number we were let in quickly so no big issue really.

Great value for money, great location for getting the shuttle to Sweden Rock Festival which was the reason we were in town. Great facilities overall, no complaints.

There has been ongoing building work at this hotel for some time now and outside of my room it resembled a construction site. The sound of consaws/disc cutters and hammer action drills at 07:00 hours in the morning was not pleasent and it was impossible to keep the floor clean in the apartment, as despite wiping my feet some dirt would be dragged into the apartment. Once the construction work is finished I believe it will be fine but I do question why the hotel was not closed completely until all work was completed? The TV was problematic but it seemed to right itself. The two things that annoyed me most are that there is no proper recycling system in place so all waste goes into landfill and the over the top security system. To enter the car park there is a digital padlock (bound to go wrong in the future), then a digital code to enter the main building. After that yet another digital code to enter the corridor where the rooms are and then a normal digital room key to enter the room. I can see there being problems with this system in the future. To exit the room you need three hands -- one to turn the handle on the door, one to hold your bag and one to turn a second knob to digitally operate the exit release on the door -- complete with annoying digital noise when you exit and another digital noise when you enter! Okay you can put the bag down but then once door opened you have to stick your foot in the doorway to stop the automatic closing while you pick your bag up. Some people would say these are minor things to put up with and not that important -- maybe they are right. Despite these small negative points I would stay there again but after the construction work is finished.

The location is good as it is in the town of Karlshamn opposite a super Thai restaurant. The standard of the building work was pretty good and the room itself was constructed with superb quality materials like solid oak floors and doors. All cooking equipment was supplied but the kitchen tucked away in the corner with only two rings on the cooker was a bit of an afterthought I would say. Free parking was included and the owner was polite and helpful. Generally as it is right in the town it is a good place to stay and was surprisingly quiet at night. The WiFi worked well.

Some of the information wasn’t included on the information paper, but the host was easy to contact and the matter was solved quickly. There was no shampoo, shower gel or conditioner.

The location was great and the apartment itself was fresh and modern. The bed was amazing!

We were on the ground floor. The room was a little warm and I didn't feel comfortable leaving the window open at night. A fan helped. Check in was a little confusing.

New renovation, near the shopping street. Parking included in the rear. Nice kitchen with fridge. Laundry available. Elevator. The manager went above and beyond! Lots of table and storage space.

Property was much smaller than I thought and did not have a washing machine in the property itself. The main issue was the overwhelming smell of aftershave which I still had on my clothes a day later. (Or it may have been air freshener.)

Host was very helpful on arriving at the property and again later when I had a query.
