FinlandA bit oldish with corridors and dark shade interiors. Book the parking beforehand.
Located practically in the centre, very nice hotel. Walking distance from restaurants etc. Parking for few cars and motos. Rooms are bit bigger than in the new hotels, one of the reasons we picked this one. Excellent breakfast.

SwedenWhat a little gem of a hotel. Nothing like those modern hotels that look and feel like shoeboxes without any character. We got a lovely and quirky corner room in the old part of the hotel, that surprised us in a wonderful way. The breakfast was somewhat basic but most things you would ask for was available. Nice and friendly staff.

NorwayThe room was tiny, and without a proper window, as it was in the basement of the hotel. This was a budget room, so I did not mind. I would not want to spend time in the room, so if you plan to stay more than a night, consider one of the other room categories.
This hotel is located very centrally, with walking distance "everywhere". It has a parking lot, with reserved areas for motorcycles - exactly what I needed. The receptionist was very welcoming and took good care of me. The breakfast was decent, and the atmosphere of the hotel was great. I may actually come back. Room was clean, and calm allowing me a good nights sleep.

Had a great stay here! Comfortable, stylish room with big TV and nice bathroom. Hotel is centrally located. I'd say it is unnecessary to book parking and pay 100 sek as it is easy to find parking in the vicinity for less money. Tea, coffee and biscuits in the lobby. Breakfast until 11 o'clock. There are bikes to borrow at the hotel.

PolandDisgusting scrambled eggs! ... but everything else we tried off the breakfast buffet was delicious.
All as expected. The receptionist was very polite and quickly found a convenient place to lock our bicycles in. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is very well located - a mere 5 min walk takes you to Västervik waterfront. Make sure to book "Junior Suite with King Bed" rather than "Superior Double Room". We stayed at both within a few days, and the former has a much bigger bathroom and a remote control for adjusting your bed stiffness. Well worth the few extra kronor!
