The service was disappointing. Staff were not friendly or helpful, and the hotel seemed seriously understaffed. One person at reception was handling everything — check-ins, bar service, and guest questions — which made the experience feel chaotic. We booked two rooms. One was not cleaned because we hadn’t requested it, but the other was also left uncleaned, and we were only told afterward that guests must ask for cleaning before 10 p.m. the day before. This rule was never communicated at check-in. Also, we were two adults and one child in the room, but only two towels and no pillow were provided for the child — a basic detail that should not be overlooked.

The food was very good — tasty and well-prepared. The location was convenient, and the hotel had potential to offer a nice experience.

If possible, it would be super nice to have one vegan sweet dish for the coffee break (for example, I have spotted vegan arraksbollar at Hemköp) in the future. I was very happy with the vegan dinner and salad options; however if there is time someday, it would be fantastic to maybe update the dish with a gravy-like vegan sauce (or soy sauce?) and/or some herbs (but I understand that sauces usually aren't vegan, and that I'm a small minority at present, so I appreciate all the trouble).

Very nice staff who recommended Havslätt beach, which is a nice place to swim. There was even coffee in the afternoon, and the cook prepared vegan chicken-like fillet, which I had with rice (I guess these plant-based fillets stay fine for months or years, so the next vegan will be happy if there is one portion of these just in case); also nice vegan breakfast with many options including vegan yoghurt and milk. Central and close to some lovely parks. The hotel really felt like a second home. The shower soap and conditioner were so nice that I bought them for my friend who is my cat-sitter. Comfortable and bright room. I was especially happy about the tea kettle and tea/coffee in the room.

The reception personal said, we got an upgrade of our room but in reality the room looked the same as on the pictures while booking. So no upgrade noticed. Paying 300 kr for a dog is a lot, also comparing with a room price incl. HB but in 2 other hotels of Clarion were some facilities offered (bowls, snacks etc.). We informed the hotel about an additional guest while making a reservation months before our arrival.

Very good location, half board offered in the room price (important in the winter time), nice atmosphere in the lobby.

We booked this hotel almost at the last moment, because in the other option booked in advance, we had to pay extra for sheets and towels. And we did not regret it, because for about the same money the room price included dinner and breakfast. The beds are stylized as old-fashioned, very high, but it was interesting experience.

Even though the cleanliness was ok - still the looks of the room and bathroom are not worth that much money. There are better looking hotels in the middle of Stockholm for half of this price.

One of the rooms was NOT cleaned from the previous guest visit!!! as we arrived at 23.30pm no chance really to fix so late, but this was really destroying the experience.

Location was excellent, and breakfast quite ok. Easy as well to find parking in the city center.
