The sofa bed in the lounge isn't a typical pull-out sprung variety but rather it comes in three pieces (the footstool becomes part of the bed at night). So, it's very comfortable for one person, maybe a bit less so for two.

Lars' holiday home (right next to his own home) was advertised as being cosy and that's exactly what it is. We read the details carefully so knew before we arrived that the space was compact. It's prefect for 2 adults (and a couple of children). The kitchen is very small but better equipped than many larger properties in which I've stayed. We loved sitting out on the deck, BBQing in the evening and seeing the occasional deer. Being able to walk through the woods to the amazing Artipelag museum and enjoy the art, the boardwalks and the great cafe, was a real bonus. And I'm now a real convert to open air showering!

The house is very small, but very well equipped. We stayed for 1 week with two adults and two small children and got along very well. The surroundings of the house are also absolutely beautiful.

The whole cottage is super tiny, especially the bedroom and the WC. The bunk beds are smaller than we thought, because even my 130cm kid cannot sit straight on the lower bed. When we go to bed, we have to "horizontally swim" like a fish into the lower bed. Occasionally our heads, legs, or arms hit the beds. There were no swings which were shown in the photos. The lawn in the yard was not mowed and the grass was a bit tall.

The place is suitable for a quiet stay. We had a happy time walking around this area. The host was very helpful. My kid got bitten by a tick and it was the first time for us to face such situation, so we did not know how to deal with it. The host helped us get the tick out. The kitchen was very clean and there were lots of tableware for us to use. The kids enjoyed jumping on the trampoline.
