The room was in the worst location of the entire hotel—directly above the pub, with a beer garden across the street playing live music late into the night. Since the windows didn’t close properly, the noise inside the room was unbearable until 4 a.m. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time we, as a family, have been assigned one of the worst rooms in a hotel. At breakfast, my children summed it up bluntly: “There’s nothing fresh here.” The croissants tasted like they had been made the day before. The overall impression was that the hotel prioritizes quantity over quality. Room prices are far too high for what’s being offered. The standard at Elite Hotels in Sweden has noticeably declined over the years. Sadly, it’s no longer worth staying there.

Location is excellent in safe area in central Växjö. Walking distance to train station and to the town center. Parking lot just outside the hotel. Staff at front desk were really helpful. Clean room and comfortable beds.

The hotel is located right in the center of town, only a 5 minute walk to the train station. There is outdoor public parking adjacent to the hotel. I believe it is free from 6 pm to 9 am. Pedestrian streets are next to the hotel for shopping and restaurants. The breakfast was excellent in quality and variety. Our room had very good lighting for reading and Wi-fi was very good.

Great hotel near to everything we needed. The breakfast was excellent, so much choice and great coffee, just perfect to set you up for the day. The staff were really friendly as well and the room was comfortable and had everything we needed.

- Wonderful location - close to centre/shops, train station, Cathedral and a short walk to Växjösjön (a pretty lake with a path all the way around it, and the location for the local parkrun at 9.30am each Saturday) - Great, welcoming team throughout the hotel - Clean (in rooms may and throughout the hotel) - Comfortable bed - Everything in room worked and was functional. - Room furnishings were of good quality and in keeping with the grand historic exterior of the building (don’t expect cutting edge avant garde design details. It’s not that kind of place). - onsite Japanese restaurant and each evening a pub (the pub can be reached by an access controlled door within the hotel as well as from outside) - Good breakfast options, nice quality food

While the room was generally clean, the bathroom wasn't up to par. The sink was a bit clogged, and there were marks on the tiles

It is a really beautiful hotel, even if the room was small there was a good storage space for our stuff. Good breakfast, many choices and the breakfast area was wonderful! The hotel is about two minutes walk to restaurants, cafes, pubs, and groceries. Very close to the museums. The staff was friendly and helpful!

The breakfast coffee was bad, the beakfast hot plates were too cool, hence bacon, beans, äggröra not hot enough. But nice with newspapers and the breakfast room, very special.

The breakfast was diverse and tasty. The location is great. Only 1-2 min walk from the bus or train station. The staff is kind and approachable. The room for one person is small (you get a feeling like you're in a private room in a hostel) but there is enough room for the baggage if you're staying for a few days and it is very cozy. Wifi is great and you get shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner on the premises, as well as a hair dryer. The bed is super comfy and soft.
