How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The blue light of the TV clock. Kept me awake. Not good! Due to flight arrival time, had to use taxi from airport at a cost of 450Sek = £35 for a 5 minute journey. Had we known that we could have got a taxi to Goteborg for 495SEK = £39 we would have gone straight there and not used the hotel. Need to sort out transfers. Used public transport in morning.

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at this hotel, and I strongly advise future travelers to think twice before booking. On the night of my arrival, I took a taxi with my elderly mother to the hotel, ready to check in. However, the access code provided by the hotel simply did not work—we tried many times but could not get into the building at all. To make matters worse, we tried calling the hotel reception repeatedly, yet no one ever picked up the phone. Being stranded outside late at night with my mother was not only stressful but also unsafe. In the end, we had no choice but to take another taxi in the middle of the night to look for a different hotel. This was both costly and exhausting, especially for my mother. Afterwards, I contacted the hotel to request a refund. Over the phone, they initially promised that the refund would be processed. I trusted their word and waited. However, one month passed without any response or progress. I called again, only to be told by a female receptionist that she could not handle it and asked me to call back the next day. When I did exactly as instructed, no one picked up the phone at all. At this point, I had every reason to believe that the hotel was deliberately avoiding my calls and intentionally delaying the refund. This hotel has shown a complete lack of professionalism and service awareness: 1.Guests cannot even enter the building due to faulty access codes. 2.No emergency support is available at night, leaving travelers helpless. 3.Refund promises are not honored, and communication is evasive and unreliable. This experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating. The very basic expectation of a hotel stay is to be able to check in smoothly and to receive timely assistance if problems occur. Sadly, this hotel failed at both. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

Verified reviewComfortable room, quiet location, good value, nice breakfast, and very good staff. Make sure you get an entry code in the email, otherwise you won't be able to access your room.
It's a bit out of the way if you're traveling north from Denmark or Malmo to Norway.

The property says free airport taxi/ shuttle. We had requested the airport taxi right on the day of booking and was not given any confirmation even after repeated requests. Finally when we arrived there was no one at the reception but there was a number to call which we called and were told the taxi will arrive at a time confirmed we waited for 25 mins over the time confirmed and made multiple calls to confirm the taxi status. People on the phone kept telling us it’s on the way but no taxi ever arrived we had to finally book as Uber and we just made in time for our flight.

Verified reviewThe hotel is easy to reach from the airport. With the key-code you can access day and night. It does mean however, that you may not meet any staff. Those who I very shortly met were friendly.
The bed is still okay, but has seen many guests.

Verified reviewThe place is clean and very easy with codes instead of keys sent via SMS. Jonas (or was it Johan? I forget) picked us up from the airport, which is included in the cost of the room. With the very early morning drop off, he paid for a taxi to take us to the airport, which was very kind of him. Very friendly, likeable guy. Hotel was clean, parking available during our trip. What more can you ask for?
It was all good.
