We left a watch in the bathroom in our room that apparently the cleaners didn’t find. There was also a leak as we woke up one morning and the carpet next to the window was wet through which ruined a pair of shoes.

Our family room had a AC unit that was stuck on cooling on maximum. It couldn't even be turned off. The remote on the wall was disconnected. Due to occupation rate of 100% and late hour, the staff couldn't change our room. There was also nobody able to fix it during weekend. The problem seems to be quite common according to the reception lady.

The room was clean and the breakfast was absolutely wonderful.

Great location next to iconic bridge and handy for trams or ferries into the city centre. Big hotel, imposing & full of character with lots references to ex brewery. Fantastic breakfast with a view

No complaints! The place is great and well located. The staff is kind and helpful. And overall, I did wish breakfast was included.

There was not a great selection of restaurants nearby.

The location was fantastic, not too far from the city centre. The staff were amazing, very approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast selection was outstanding, there was something for every palate.

No phone in room, small room for three adults, prices- ie: our room costing over £600, for three adults, when another room, same size for x2 people costing £400. No heating, was cold at night.

The only thing to complain about is the toilets in the ground floor lobby area were not cleaned well.

The vanity soap dispenser was broken, but I could use the shower dispenser instead.

I was given a Fabulous waterfront view- loved it! The historical location and surrounding area are really beautiful. Staff at the reception, breakfast dining room and in housekeeping are all friendly and helpful- especially at the reception desk. Our room was very well-appointed and comfortable, particularly the bed which was fresh and no hair on the linens. Staff thoughtfully left me a welcome back note and small snacks- such a kind, special surprise- thank you! We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet which is well prepared and has an abundance to choose from. The waterfront dining room is a great place to start the day!

The room wasn’t made up through our entire stay even though we asked the staff to do it, shampoo bottle was empty in the shower and they don’t refill the coffee in the room

My bedroom had a bathroom with bath and it was impossible to take a shower without spilling water on the floor. There was no good drainage and separation from bathtub to the rest of the bathroom.

Cleaning wasn't optimal. There was an old lip balm left over from previous guests, as well as some chocolate on the floor. The children's play area in the lobby could do with a little bit of a renovation/refill of toys.

Breakfast selection was great. Beautiful location just by the water, with great views of the bridge. Family room was very spacious.
