Fabulous location, easy to find, late check-in. Great breakfast. Slightly older rooms but still nice. There is EV car charging available at a cost but higher than the nearby Tesla Supercharger.

It was nice and calm stay, felt trusted. House is old but good looking, room was redecorated with great taste. Breakfast was well served, plenty to choose from. Idyllic views from restaurant!

My room was just off the restaurant area. That could have been an issue but it wasn’t.

Beautiful location. I am almost afraid to write this review because I hope that it doesn’t become “known” but in reality it was probably the nicest location I had stayed in during an 18 day trip to Sweden and Norway!

We had already stayed in this hotel 5 years ago and we had a great time returning. Spacious, comfortable and perfectly clean room. In the evening we enjoyed one of the best dinners of our life. Breathtaking location overlooking the lake. Highly recommended!

Tired bedroom furniture fittings and decoration.

Nothing around in walking distance, but I guess the location is what makes this place particular and it has to be so. A mini-bar in the room won't have hurt. A kettle not really necessary, since one can use the one in the common area at anytime.

The place is fantastic and the view from the room, as well as from the restaurant, is just astonishing. Not just because of the lake, but thanks to the nice and pretty landscape of the surrounding country area. PARKING: private open air backyard just in front of the hotel building at the end of their private road CHECK-IN: easy and quick STAFF: nice and friendly. I mentioned that I'll leave earlier than the breakfast time and I was offered a breakfast bag to pick up the night before, as well as the possibility to take some of the warm coffee in the dining area, whenever I wanted. Really appreciated. WIFI/VPN: works MINIBAR: none KETTLE: none SIZE: kind of small, but it was ok for a solo. The view is beautiful, the pieces of furniture and decorations very stylish, warm and charming. CLEAN: yes, very much. BATHROOM: large and clean. Modern and very functional. QUIET: yes, a lot Services/Restaurants/Attractions around: I didn't roam around as I already did the shopping before getting in there in the last supermarket before the hotel, some 4-5 km away. The hotel has a very nice restaurant, with good service and delicious food. Not to mention the view, if I didn't enough already.

Shower was too cold and the floor/carpets felt misplaced in an otherwise very cosy hotel and room.

Floor not clean behind wobbly bedside table. The webside said dogs är welcome, bit you couldnt Bring the dog to any part of the restaurant. Extra charge for dogs but not a dog bowl, matress or so.

The room we had is in urgent need of an upgrade (for the price) I know other rooms had been upgraded and I guess they are getting around to all the rooms

The only thing I regret is that we couldn't see the location of the hotel during daytime . Such a cosy place and rustic style that i felt in love from first time. I highly recommend .

The hotel was generally okay, but despite assurances that restaurant is open every day, it was closed and only a buffet was available in the evening, so we had to eat quickly at McDonald's.. In addition, the breakfast is quite poor for the price - there is nothing hot to eat.
