Access to the spa is expensive and complicated (need to book it in advance, 1.5h slots, almost 300 k).

    Excellent position, very nice structure.

The pool wasn’t open on Sundays, was an additional charge and was booked out the day we arrived so we couldn’t go. The staff were nice but not super helpful when explaining the booking of the pool. The place itself is much further away from central Stockholm than Booking.com implied and it was quite hard to get to with a suitcase on foot. The room was very far away from the breakfast up manh many stairs and the breakfast was poor. European style breakfast with very limited veggie options.

I loved the bed and the dressing gowns and flip flops, it was really clean and looked really up market upon arrival. There was a bar and the view over the lake was absolutely beautiful.

The bed and pillow was a bit hard for my liking but that was alright. The hangers were broken though. And the view outside was just a wall of the villa itself.

The breakfast was nice and it still feels good to be in a bit remotely located. Felt like I was on a trip to a village but in a good and wholesome way.

The normal bedrooms are far too small it’s difficult to move around. The apartments are bigger, but I hadn’t focused on the size when I booked.

Beautiful location near the end of the island. Friendly staff and nice food.

    1. Room was tiny and a bit dirty. Bed was very strange - round shape and very short. We are 170 sm and legs were on the air. Very uncomfortable. When i told this to the reception - I have got an answer that it is not the first time when Booking confuses the pictures, but nothing could be done now to change it. The last drop was the insects in the room - huge spider with the net and bedbug near the bed. 2. SPA we booked this hotel because of it. But when we arrive - we have got to know that the only chance to get there is right now as after it will be closed for the conference. So, we have to go there hungry and with the bags, it was nobody there and only dirty glasses, no even one clean to drink water. Nobody to call in.. very tiny spa with only swimming pool and one cold sauna. That is it. And we had to pay for this "pleasure" almost 400 SEK.

Location is good near the water, easy to get there even by public transport. Breakfast was ok but nothing special - no normal coffee, almost no fruits and no possibilities to eat normal fried eggs.

Very bad service. You have to pay to even sit by the pool area, but reception don’t tell you this and just charge you for it when you check out.

Conference hotel, not a couples retreat

I think this hotel is better suited to conferences than trips for couples. The hotel was really quiet (maybe 4 couples) but our room was in a far corner with a terrible view over concrete which was a shame when they had plenty of rooms available. The spa has to be booked in advance so you cannot do a spontaneous visit. This meant we didn't feel we got the most out of the spa since we couldn't swim on the morning we left. The dinner was quite disappointing - we had to choose our food at check in, and it was then served really fast at the meal, meaning we were finished with a 3 course meal in around one hour! 2 out of 6 wines on the menu were not available which was surprising.

The view from the pool is great, makes it feel like a special experience. Breakfast was also really good and the beds were super comfy.

Almost everything about the hotel and service is below average. The hotel and rooms: require renovation! It looks like some minor refreshment was done recently, but the overall condition of the furniture, walls, and carpets - everything should be replaced. Restaurant: feel free to go for breakfast - it is one of the best aspects of the hotel. Save your money on dinners and just take a taxi to some other place. Menus is poor (1 option of fish meal, 1 option of chicken meal and 1 vegan option) and with heavy overprice. Spa: tiny area of spa area with small pool. In case you have at least 8-10 people in spa, there would be no place to enjoy your time (the hotel has approx 50-60 rooms, so just imagine how bad it could in a high season) Service: it is quite bad. Rooms have nothing. No dental kits, no sanity kits, no slippers (you could get them at reception by your request), no fridge, no tea/coffee, no cups. You got very small rooms with something that pretends as a minibar, hairdryer, and a couple of towels. However, you could get tea/coffee in a restaurant. I suppose some low-level hotels in Stockholm would have more facilities for less money. Overall: the photographer hired to do the photos of the hotel is a genius! Save your money and just go to some other hotel in the same area or as another option just come here to a spa, pay some fee for one day spa and leave it. It does not worth staying overnight!

The hotel's most positive feeling comes from its location, surrounding area, and breakfast.
