How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

My only real complaint was about the design of the design of the bathroom. One large room with no real way to keep shower water from spreading into the area around the toilet, which oddly was in the middle of the room. No grab bar in the shower and the floor was a little slippery.
Great location. Excellent breakfast…the baked goods were outstanding. Rooftop areas were very appealing on warm sunny days.

The wet room shower can be a little too wet! Wifi was not great. The restaurant was nice but not particularly cheerful waiters and almost a bit arrogant about how good the food was! But bar staff very polite. These are minor issues and personal feelings.
An amazing hotel. Excellent facilities and the best staff. Cant fault out room and the beautiful sauna a rooftop pool.

Very nice property! Very clean, boutique, nice smell and shampoo/conditioner. Nice design. Very good breakfast, liked the sauna too. Awesome for this price.

Everything is great but the town of Jaxjo is pretty dull by comparison
This is a superb hotel in all respects. Outstanding room, brilliant resturant/ food and bar and friendly helpful staff. Top notch.

This was an amazing hotel. The location, the food, the sauna all were perfect. It was the best breakfast at a hotel I have ever had. The dinner the night before was excellent too! Perfect weekend stay to bike the lakes region.

Great sauna and two pools. The heated one was very lovely with small kids and big thanks to the hotel warming it for us. Breakfast and all the small details were amazing! Rooms really spacious and stylish!

It would have been nice if the hot tub was a couple of degrees hotter. Pretty impressive that this is my only negative comment. This hotel really is fantastic
Absolutely fantastic hotel. Great room, huge window, comfortable beds, excellent staff, outdoor hot tub, great breakfast and good food in the rooftop restaurant. I fully recommend staying here.

I requested the room to be cleaned, but both rooms were still messy when we returned. Everything about this hotel was great, except for the missed room service.
This place features a stunning modern design, a clean environment, and fantastic amenities like a heated pool and sauna. The breakfast is absolutely delicious. Its prime location in the city center makes it incredibly convenient. I highly recommend it!

Fantastic Hotel in Vaxjo!!! I was always staying in ELITE, however this Hotel is the best in south part of Sweden :) Fantastic room, bathroom, very modern and you will enjoy your stay. Roof top bar in the evening is serving fantastic local gin and tonic :)

I couldn't figure out how to make tea with the equipment provided, but the reception staff lent me an electric kettle.
Great location -- breakfast was delicious had a wonderful variety -- staff was very professional, knowledgeable, and responsive.

This hotel has no service, in person, email or via phone. Service is at its minimum effort, mirroring the swedish practical & minimalist design. It’s a hotel with nice rooms & good food but there are no tables free. We’ve stayed in every type of room. Its a great place to stay to be unseen, unspoken & uninterested in.
Pretty awesome to stay at swedish design hotel with michelin bistro in vaxjö. a small town in småland where nothing ever happens.

Wifi weak, constantly interrupted Not enough staff: no room service, nobody on the phone available (reception), no concierge !!!
