Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bedsofa was a bit hard. The parking lot was cramped with small spaces.
The staff were excellent. The bartender made our evening more fun, the reception and staff were helpful and kind. The rooms were clean and spacious, their layouts really well done.

Nothing worth complaining about.
A very nice hotel, all in all a very clean hotel with nice hotel staff. It would also be a great choice for families. Only stayed for two nights but it seamed to be centrally located - yet quiet and good neighborhood. Was there on business so not sure about the towns main attractions.

We always arrived to the hotel after 22:00 in the evening, meaning we never got to ask for cleaning of our room. Cleaning was not automatic, but was instead done on request. After 22:00, they had a security guard, but no staff. I didn't like how we had to walk up 2 stairs (or 2 elevators) to get to our room, rather than just a single elevator. I didn't like how they had no large glasses for water at the breakfast buffet, so I needed to get many small ones to contain the amount of water I needed.
Breakfast tasted nice, I enjoyed the beans and sausages. My girlfriend enjoyed the waffle iron. The room was nice, and the check-in/check-out was seamless.

While the room was comfortable and well situated (nice and quite), there were some relatively minor downsides. Like you need to book room tidying the day before, the soap and paper in the bathroom was pretty limited (I basically bought my own soaps and shampoo, they gave OK stuff but as mentioned rather limited amounts). There was no kettle, so if doing coffee or tea in the evening had to run down to reception to get hot water. No fridge, but I didn't need that. So, if you plan around such, suitable prepared (as I will be next time) it is pretty sure to be a good stay.
Excellent location. Most of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. I much appreciated being able to get hot or cold water any time to do tea of coffee (from the reception area). Lots of nice places to sit with friends or visitors besides one's hotel room or restaurant; I really liked that aspect. Right next to gardens and good walks. Generally very happy with my stay and would visit again.

I had to ask for my room to be cleaned. I thought this could be done using a door indicator rather than having to specifically ask. Menu for restaurant was not available in English. This was an easy thing to fix.
Location to my conference. Lovely staff, they were very helpful. Loved the breakfasts.
