How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

I think it would be good to refreshen up at least some parts of the hotel for example the pool and jacuzzi area, the walls and doors where there were broken or worn out parts. I dont know if it was possible to heat the pool; it was a bit on the colder side.
Room was big and comfortable for our family. The open shelving/wardrobe. The simple and fresh decoration of the bathroom. The reception area with coffee and game table was really a big hit; the same with pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Breakfast had a lot of variety; especially appreciated for the sake of my daughter who is very picky with food.

Relax area was bad, it looked old and not clean enough, there was children screeming and jumping, there was even trash on ground. Super bad
Staff was really friendly and helpfull, location was perfect for our trip

The bed was a bit on the small side and given the size of the room I’m not really sure why this was the case.

No real bar and due to the holidays the restaurant was closed for lunch
Just in for one night so not much to say. free coffee helpful staff and they had a shuffle table which people could play on. great location for walking into town and only 20 mins from the lake.

During the night we could hear people above us walk and go to the bathroom. The beds were not very comfortable.
The breakfast was amazing. Great selection of food and everything was fresh. The staff at the hotel was also very friendly.

I cannot find anything negative.
I had a great choice for breakfast, the room was really large and comfortable. And the hotel is close to the station and downtown. I would choose this hotel again.

We picked the hotel largely because of their supposed spa and relaxation area. The weather had turned and we arrived soaked from cold and heavy rain. However, despite reserving an hour in the spa, it was overwhelmed with other travelers, many who did not respect their allotted time slot. I loved seeing the kids enjoy themselves play and horse around after hours in the car, however, it was not a relaxing space as advertised.
Centrally located, nice and spacious room, great breakfast buffet. Friendly and professional staff. We lost our TV remote and the staff quickly brought us a spare, even though they were swamped. The hotel has a small gym, nice pool, jacuzzi and a lovely sauna.

Nothing the hotel can do about it but the good location also has its cons - might be quite noisy when your room is located on the street side.
Situated in a very good location, offering private parking. Overall good value for money.

Couldn’t take dog to the restaurant area.
Staff suggested us a solution to have a breakfast with our dog although the dogs are not allowed in the breakfast area. Also had dog snacks and a toy on the room as a compliment. That was very cute.

The decoration of the room was a bit old-fashioned and "cold", the wi-fi in the gym was very slow. The breakfast is served only until 9 am.
Big room, comfortable bed, very rich breakfast, good location, nice common area, free coffee all day long, central location, close to shops and some restaurants. There is also a small gym and a sauna. Fair price for Swedish standards. I also liked that the receptionist asked me for feedback when I left.
