Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The family room for 4 person is little bit too tight, no enough space to walk when i unfold my luggage case.
The location is great with a nice sea view. The room is clean. The breakfast is great.

A large building project is being undertaken (I think my last review of the same hotel mentioned it too) this does distract from what otherwise would be a 10/10 or close hotel.
I've stayed at this hotel quite a few times and will likely stay again it is a great choice for Karlskrona. The staff are nice the breakfast good and parking (certainly off season) is easy nearby.

Parking situation is challenging but it was because there was a festival going on in the city and streets were blocked and parking in high demand. We were unaware of the festival when we booked months ago.
Location and view were great! Breakfast very nice with many choices.

I asked for connected rooms when i booked but they didn’t manage to arrange that even thougn i booked 5 months in advance. I even called and got a confirmation but in the end they messed it up. Very disapointed about that.
In general the facilities are ok and clean.

Careful of seagulls if you sit outside for breakfast! Parking not provided by the hotel but excellent parking nearby.
It was a wonderful position with a busy but casual atmosphere. The staff were helpful and the breakfast delicious!

Building works the massive crane outside my window which started at 0700 was a bit annoying! I'm sure these will be done soon and they weren't massively oppressive. The removal of the parking in front of the hotel for the new 'wing' was a bit of a surprise but there is plenty of other parking near by.
Lovely hotel with a great view, my third stay here in the last few years after being disappointed with other properties in the locality. Breakfast is very good! Staff are great and the rooms are clean

There were no glasses in the room, for tooth brush or drinking water.
Room was big for 2 persons and the view was super. Great breakfast.

First time I have to pay for an early check in! If the room is ready, why would you charge for taking the room at 2pm instead of 3pm? Not very customer minded.

For longer staying guests (ie one week), the lack of adequate wardrobe and cupboard space is disappointing as is the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Also for older guests the use of the baths as a base for showering can be a little tricky.
Location is stunning. Breakfast plenty of choice and well prepared. Efficient and friendly staff
