We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

NorwayI don’t have huge booking experience so maybe it was my mistake. I did not receive any check in instructions before arrival. The good thing is that the host picked up the phone even after midnight and everything was fixed. I would prefer a cleaner and nicer shower and maybe an option to rent some towels or bedding.
Very big and comfortable house. It has so many bedrooms, hot tub, playground for children. We loved it and want to visit again!

IndonesiaThe bedrooms were a little cold, one bedroom the radiator didn’t turn on. Granted we visited with -16 degrees Celsius. Luckily, there were plenty of blanket available.
Loved that we had plenty of room for our entire family.

EstoniaOur stay at Lilov was a nightmare. Despite receiving a welcome email confirming our booking, we arrived to find the property already occupied by another group. The alternative accommodation offered was unsafe and under construction, with dust, broken parts, and no proper amenities. We had young children with us, making this situation even more distressing. Despite numerous messages, we received no compensation and feel taken advantage of as non-locals. Will not recommend this place at all.
There was nothing we liked about the experience. In fact we even didn't get to stay in this property as it was double booked
