Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThe beds were hard as hard..the floor would have been more comfortable! The included breakfast was nothing fancy and very basic.. if it wasn't included I wouldn't have paid the $16 and would have found something down the road.
Location... the MRT rail system is 100m away and once you access this system you can go anywhere around Singapore effectively and easily. The other highlight is the close location of Little India, Arab Street and Bugis Street..all walking distance. Great location..

United KingdomThe curtains were hanging off the rail. The toilet roll holder is in such an awkward place it's hard to reach. The chilled drinking water dispenser is in the toilet/shower room a few feet from the toilet, which is gross. No space to put wash bags and toiletries. No hooks to put towels or clothes when taking a shower.
All the staff were friendly and efficient. I had a twin room which was small but adequate. The breakfast offered was good with a decent amount of variety. The hotel is situated near to Rocher MTR which gives access to all of the main tourist sites and is very convenient. Close to Little India with some great food options.

United Arab EmiratesThe front staff offered no hospitality whatsoever, just did the bare minimum to check us in and out. Shower curtain was short, causing splatter over half the dry bathroom floor. Bidet is on the wrong side of the toilet. Price is understandably not that “budget” considering the location, but could definitely be lower considering the barebones customer experience and the compactness of the room provided.
Great location, clean, minimal and modern. A great place to sleep and explore the city from. The drinking water filter on the bathroom sink was a nice touch.

AustraliaNoise from aircon compressor. Not sure its because we were on the 10th floor. But the humming sound was continuous.
Location is great. Bed was comfy and good hot water in shower. Staff very courteous and helpful. Room had a proper window and we were able to see the national day fireworks and airforce flypast. Bathroom sink had a separate drinking water filter tap. Most hotels dont provide that. Great amenity.

United KingdomFor the stairs had to ask a member of stairs to let me into the stairwell which was a bit annoying. Aircon was also a bit confusing.
Comfortable, aircon. Liked that there was complimentary toothbrush and toothpaste. Plenty of towels too.

AustraliaOur room was next to the pool, therefore noisy during the day, and you couldn't open the curtains without losing privacy. The room stayed humid and slightly damp, even with air-conditioning, but that might be a general problem in Singapore.
Good location only a few meters from a metro station. Decent size room. Good shower. Very comfortable bed. Kettle and fridge in the room. Air-conditioning worked well for a humid and hot place like Singapore.

Czech RepublicHotel is bit old, equipment worn out. Rooms very small. Biggest downside was, that you can't open window, not even just for ventilation.

MalaysiaLocation is abit secluded i can say compared to other hot location, but for this price, i think it's affordable compared to other hotels at the hotspots. The aircon took a while to cool, so might need to turn it on earlier to feel cool. Room very small, just like other Singapore hotels.
Transportation is good, just a few minutes walking to Bugis station, and luckily Singapore is small so we don't have to travel too many stops to reach our destination. The cleanliness is one of the thing im most worried of, but surprinsingly, the room is very clean! we called for daily cleaning too and they cleaned our room very well too! There's a drinking tap water in the toilet too, so it's very convenient. Very easy to check in too, just check in online and you can just collect your card to enter the room, that's all. There's 2 convenient stores nearby, so no worry on foods or daily supplies.

FinlandThe bathroom corners and edges are dirty. And the floor is not clean because the first time the floor got wet, I wiped it with a paper towel and the paper towel became dirty black.
The breakfast selection was really nice. They have a different menu every day and the food was always good. It is also good that they impose a $5 per 100g food leftover during breakfast so that people will be encouraged to finish their food. Staff are nice. Hotel is walking distance (3 minutes away) from Rochor MRT station which is the downtown line. There's a 711 convenience store downstairs, and another one across the street.
