We arrived in Maribor during the peak of a heatwave and the air-conditioning struggled to keep the room cool that night. Thankfully things improved the second night and we slept well.

The location is absolutely perfect, a short walk to restaurants, bars and main attractions. This is an extremely well priced room for the location.. The room was spotless and, though quite small, had all we required. The family who run this accommodation are lovely, genuine people , our host gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations. Despite our later than expected arrival, we found that our landlady had waited to allow us access, we appreciated that. I recommend this accommodation.

There are several apartments. Some with a single sofa, some with a double sofa. The pictures are not separated accordingly. We were not aware of this and were in need of a double sofa and, of course, got the single one. The rooms are very high, so the AC can barely do its job.

claustrophobic bathroom — a larger or heavier person would likely have serious trouble even getting inside. The interior was dark, with a window facing the courtyard. Low-quality pillows. The fridge was loud and emitted bright light; we eventually had to unplug it just to get some sleep. This is the kind of place where you just sleep, leave, and forget.

The shower drain is blocked.

The room is very clean and comfortable. The environment is quiet, and the central location is excellent. I’ve stayed here for the fourth time (maybe even the fifth?), and I’m always happy to find a little packet of instant coffee or cappuccino waiting on the table. :) It’s great that you don’t need to schedule a key handover – you can just pick up the keys yourself at the entrance.

Stayed for one night on our way through Maribor and enjoyed our stay. The room is a bit on the small side but has everything you could possibly need including a fridge and kettle. Great location in the middle of the city - very easy to access from the train station. All communication with host Greg was quick and easy. It was incredibly quiet - we didn’t hear a thing all night! Small personal preference - pillows were too soft for us.

I have stayed here quite a few nights, and always enjoy my stay when I do. The rooms are modern, spotless, very quiet, well-maintained, with plush pillows and soft-towels. And if something should need attention, Greg, owner/manager of 4 Flats is quick to respond. I also like that it's a family operation: Greg, the son, takes care of the business side, while his mother and father tend to the housekeeping and general upkeep. I have met them all several times coming and going, and they are very friendly and appreciative. Another thing I love about the place is its location. Outside my window is a small park, on the other side of which is the beautiful Slovenian National Theater, which hosts an ever-changing program of affordable opera, dance, plays, and other forms of cultural entertainment, all within a fabulous performance hall. The theater has a lovely, elegant cafe that operates independently and is open six days a week. A short walk from 4 Flats is Rooster, a great little coffee shop where you can enjoy homemade pastries and get a cup of filter coffee -- not easy to find in Maribor. Just up the street from 4 Flats is Good Morning Vietnam restaurant, which serves delicious Southeast Asian food. And just down the street from 4 Flats is the town square, will all that it has to offer. So, combining the quality of the accommodation with the quality of its location makes 4 Flats an ideal place to stay.

Parking is a challenge. It's important to mention that the appartment offers parking options that's very helpful in this downtown area but you need to be very careful while using it. Also a microwave owen would have been handy.

We had a great time at 4flats. The appartment is in the center of the city, everything is in a walking distance. The owner was super helpful and flexible.

The room is larger than standard. The location is excellent, in the center, right next to the Maribor Cathedral. The staff and the owner are also very hospitable and are there to help with anything you may need.

The floor remained wet in the bathroom. The host is not available on whatsapp or other wifi calling platforms. You must have ability to make a phone call which is not always possible for international travellers.

Directly downtown with many restaurants and bars close-by. Well organized and fast replies during booking and check-in process. Parking might be a challenge as space on the street is limited. Alternative parking offers can be offered against a small charge.
