Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The apartment was clean and very spacious. The host Erika is really lovely and welcoming and she even surprised us with freshly picked fruit in the morning.

Big and nice apartment with sunny side all the time. The sunniest of all is miss Erika who took take of everything. She brought us brakfast till door when the Sunday morning in wine region can be tough😉

The host was very welcoming and sweet. She organized a wine tasting for us also. The view from the terrace across the wine fields was great. Would love to come again and stay longer than one night.

Nothibg not to like
Erika, was amazing so warm welcoming and generous. We loved her house wine and fresh apricots and plums from the garden. We had lovely views from this well equipped and comfortable home in a traditional wine village!

Absolutely fantastic place, can’t recommend enough. Gorgeous location in a small town in a beautiful location, also walking distance to Šmartno and local wineries. Very spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen and great outdoor area/terrace. Erika was very friendly and accommodating and even provided a lovely gift basket on arrival. We would love to come back.

There was construction going on in the buildings below and beside the apartment. At 07:00 they started making lots of noise in the space below the apartment, which woke us up. Unfortunately this was a waste of a possibility for sleeping in since we couldn’t sleep any more after that.
We loved the spacious and very clean appartement. It had a lovely roof terrace with great views. The family that owns is was very friendly and the complimentary homemade bottle of wine was really appreciated. We were there for one night and during the day hiked through the vineyards to Klet Brda to do a tour of their cellars and a winetasting. The day we were there the village had a holiday with music all night long and it was nice to wander around the party and see how the locals celebrated.

Very spacious apartment with extremely friendly host! Apartment is perfectly ecquipted with everything you might need during your stay! From iron to small pan. The view from the very big teracce is magnificient on both sides. There is parking lot under the roof. We were really pleasently surprised. Definetly coming back soon!

We had such a wonderful time in Kozana. The apartment is beautiful and spacious, with sprawling views over the Brda region and a huge terrace for eating outside. Erika was a fantastic hostess, providing us with fresh apricots and local wine and a top restaurant recommendation for dinner. Couldn't recommend highly enough for couples or families wanting to stay in the Brda region. Our only regret was not staying for longer!

Erika is an amazing host, lovely and friendly. She greeted us with kindness and welcomed us with a 5 star dinner she prepared as all restaurants were closed. On top of it, she made us find delicious freshly backed pastries on our door step in the morning. The apartment is Clean, spacious and offers everything ones need to enjoy the stay, plus is located on top of a hill surrounded by the green and beautifull slovenian scenery.. Yet everything is shadowed by Erika top level hosting and loveliness

We were the first guests in the apartment and we can say that everything was in the best order, even beyond expetations. The hostess is very helpful and easy to deal with. The apartment deserves all the praise and recommendations.
