How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing, ideal apartment in great location. Would strongly recommend.
Lovely, modern and spacious apartment in central, yet quiet location and with the bonus of parking and access to large garden. Rooms are large and airy and well furnished. The host is very welcoming and friendly. Tourist information, bakery, supermarket and restaurants are very close to the apartment. Postojna caves are also within easy walking distance (about 10 mins up a slight hill). A great apartment for our family of 4.

Nothing everything perfect
Perfect place to stay to visit the castle and caves. Tina was an excellent host providing detailed information on how to find the property. The apartment was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. It was great to have a washing machine after nearly 2 weeks travelling. It was very peaceful and quiet with a lovely patio to be able to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine

The apartment was clean. You must walk down a paved slope to the entrance, but, even with luggage, it’s manageable. The host is helpful and friendly. The location is nice. It’s short walking distance to bakeries and restaurants.

The walls were a bit plain. Very austere in appearance, but if you’re only staying for quick visit to cave and castle really doesn’t matter.
Spacious and comfortable. Centrally located. Good instructions for finding the property. Twenty minutes walk or so, to Postojna caves. Pretty good restaurant five minutes away, next to sports ground behind the house. Luk Gostilna pizzeria. Does a lot more than just pizzas and has excellent desserts.

Beds were a bit too soft for us
The place was very clean, spacious and well equipped. The location was also very good, right in the centre but still quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The double bed mattress was too soft for us.
The apartment was very nice and cozy. Quite a good environment in a very quiet place, however the location is in the town center, just a few hundred meters from the main square. There is a private parking before the flat.😁

We did not discover how to switch on the dishwasher during our short stay (and did not find any instructions) so left the dishes in before leaving (the cleaning lady just arrived while we were saying goodbye to the host).
The flat is in the town centre, shops and restaurants are close by. Flat has a lot of space, very clean, terrace to eat outside and a back yard for the kids.

The house is situated in the walking distance to local attractions, restaurants, cafes. It has got a charming garden with a wonderful sunset. Everything is made for a comfortable stay. The place is clean and well equipped. We had great time there and definitely would love to come back!

The bath towels were rather small, but everything else was fantastic!
The apartment was spotlessly clean and modern! We had a bit of trouble figuring out where the apartment was - make sure you bear left as you pull into the large shared area and that the apartment entryway is downstairs, but not too difficult. There were many extra touches and the lighting and appliances were excellent. Our children loved the big garden to play and burn off energy. Highly recommend this property and only wish we could've stayed longer! It's in a fantastic location. Walking distance to Postojna Cave and bakery, market, bank ATMs and restaurants steps from your door.

# There's no curtain in the shower, so need to grab the water after taking one. # There was a problem with heating system (we stayed for a week during 1st week of Oct), used the electric heater in appartment (moved where the heating was needed) - we didn't raise this problem during our stay to [potentially] prevent from 3rd party professional to enter the appartm.when we're out - it's the beginning of the heating season, I believe the issue will be fixed (updated the owner on check out) # No dryer machine for clothes, but the owner happily suggested to dry in her own. We didn't use this option. We dried the clothes on a mobile rack...or in urgent cases, there's a laundromat in Postojna where you can dry # no microwave (used pan or oven for heating food) # in the living room, on one of the windows, the blinds were half lifted and non functional....it's a 1st floor, on the hill with higher building near by so we feeled not that comfortable at evening...privacy. Needed to improvise with some sheet to hang on the window - I believe will be fixed by the owner
# Just outside the appartment, there's a green grass garden (private property) with apple and plum trees and some stuff for kids - available for playing and picking/eating fruits. # Silent place # The appartment looks new and fashionable # Washing machine in the appartment # Available private parking # Shopping groceries, bakery and some eating places are in a close walking distance. # Children friendly - in the apt, there's a big bag with toys for small children, a slide in the garden and a soccer gate on a grass. # Good wifi signal - no issues at all. # Baby crib is available (although it's stated as unavailable in the booking.com site) # The owner is friendly and available through messages (we didn't use phone/local sim)

The place has a good size and has the basics, but it doesn't have any kind of details to give it character or make you feel in a cozy place. It is a good place to spend a night and continue your trip.
The garden is great, it is big, has a terrace, orchard and a small playground. Very appropriate for families with kids. The location, in the town centre, is very convenient to explore the town. It is very close to the cave, 5 min. by car.
