Certainly one of the most wonderful hotels I've ever been! It's located close to the center of Izola - a car is not needed (nor recommended) to visit it. From the back entry, the Dolphin Beach is just a few steps away. It's a rocky shore, but there are several stairs into the water. The inside pool is filled with salty water, which is great. Italy is not far away, you can see Trieste across the sea. In the town, everbody seems to be able to speak Italian. The vew from the balcony is outstanding.

I really liked the hotel; it seems like it was an old property that’s been renovated, which you can sense in some areas. The main target audience is clearly retirees, and it’s highly recommended for them. If that bothers someone, this may not be the right place for them. That said, there were also plenty of couples with young children. They organize a lot of activities for seniors. The room was a typical hotel room, but it had a large balcony and a firm bed. Breakfast and dinner were buffet-style, and the food was generally good. Nothing was bad, but nothing stood out as exceptional either. The staff seemed to be noticeably kind and patient. The wellness area was also very good.

If you do not want to go to the pool you can rent a bike. Food were delicius and you can have lunch and/or dinner. Staff will do for you what ever is in their power!

SerbiaDelfin is perfect place if you know what is your expectation. First I must sey, that Delfin have specific atmosphere. Build for the people young in the soul (+50/55 years) they have very ogranized program for all and from 7.30 to the night. In the morning you have aqua gimnastic, after that breakfast, and gimnastic in the park, walking tour, lunch and after diner every night live program... And the pool area is nice, warm, clean.... Food is tasty and fresh... People who works in Delfin are polite and great. We will come again, I am sure...

The food at this hotel was very abundant and varied. There was free parking, some lovely evening music on a Saturday night, several seawater pools, and a very nice library. We appreciate that the hotels aims to be environmentally friendly, using recycled paper and tissue, minimizing plastic waste by providing large-sized containers of toiletries etc.

BelgiumLiked: due to the late night party at the hotel I asked for a remote & quiet room. Anja managed to arrange that. Room was quiet and clean. Comfy bed. Thank you, Anja! Disliked: basic breakfast and the morning staff was very rude and indifferent. Except the chef! He was the only person with a smile on his face (a genuine one)…..and who warmly greeted me. Gen-Z staff needs to be retrained and taught some basic manners, since they are working in a hospitality sector after all. So, at least “fake it till you make it”, kids!
