This place is such a wonderfully cozy and casual place, with hosts that always greet you with a smile and any help they can offer. The location is beautiful, in the small village of Kosec near Kobarid. The breakfasts were very generous and delicious, with hot and cold foods, fresh fruit. We enjoyed dinner here one night - a lovely evening on the main patio overlooking the mountains with delicious homemade local cuisine, cooked by the mom. The room is appropriately not fancy, but it is clean and comfortable and just spacious enough. Sitting on our own private patio enjoying wine while looking at the mountains was infinitely relaxing! And they directed us to the local trail, an easy 1 1/2 hour hike, which was beautiful with many waterfalls! Great advice!!

Everything. Lovely location, delicious food, very comfortable room with a great balcony and view. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We messed up and needed to push our reservation back two days at the last minute and this was no problem.

Lovely hotel and hosts! Breakfast was really good - lot's of choices. Our room was clean and spacious. It's a nice and quiet location but a little bit of a drive on narrow/windy roads from Kobarid so we had dinner at the Inn both nights. That turned out to be great - food and wine was delicious! Dinner menu was posted each morning so you could decide if you wanted to dine in or out. We also used the hot tub (book in advance) which was great - it's wood heated and under the stars - very nice!

    Nothing. All good!

Loved the views from the terrace outside our room. Warm welcome upon our arrival, provided with a host of maps and brochures to help plan activities for our visit. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Bed was comfortable, extra blankets were provided (didn't need them), small kitchenette had a fridge, kettle, glassware, etc. Bathroom was spacious, water was hot and had good pressure. Location was great - quiet small village setting, access to a multitude of walks and hikes - Kosec Gorge loop, Alpe Adria long-distance trail, Mt. Krn hike, as well as a short walk to two waterfalls and a valley viewpoint. Excellent breakfast buffet with homemade products like cured meats, cheeses, jams, three kinds of eggs, yogurts, and on and on. Had dinner there two nights - three courses for 22 euros. Delicious!
