We highly recommend this apartment. Despite being right in the heart of the old town, its soundproofed windows make it a quiet and charming retreat. It is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you might need, truly feeling more like a home than a hotel. The host was always available, very helpful, and even provided us with great recommendations for our visit.

I wouldn’t want to be harsh, all I missed was a bit of outside private space.

Amazing location, right in the centre of Llubijana. The apartment has been restored superbly, good amount of space, a lounge and kitchen alongside a big bedroom. It was well equipped and the host had even left a lot of food and drinks for us to help with our stay. Despite being right in the hub of the city, it’s also very quiet with the windows shut, and a good air con system helped in the summer heat. Would go back in a heartbeat!

I honestly can’t think of a single thing I did not like about the apartment.

Matevz is a wonderful host and has put a lot of consideration and work into this property. The apartment is in a great location in the pedestrian section of Old Town, a few hundred feet from restaurants, but is very quiet in the apartment. It is immaculately clean, well equipped, and beautifully decorated. There is a sound system with a wide variety of music loaded. Matevz provided coffee, snacks and drinks. He also has a binder of restaurants he recommends. I only wish we could have stayed longer in this lovely apartment to explore Ljubljana.

Nothing in particular, but I would say that the curtains are not block out but I knew that from other reviews and took a sleep mask - so no worries there!

Modern tastefully Renovated apartment in a beautiful historic building in the centre of Ljubljana steps from restaurants. Quiet location, fantastic coffee machine where you can steam your own milk, I loved that - just like home! Visit the maxi market up the street for fresh supplies.

From the moment the host met us and carried a suitcase up the stairs for us to the moment we left, we felt looked after. The apartment is beautiful, spacious, clean, very quiet, located in the heart of the city, yet feels totally private. Every comfort and detail you could think of was supplied with snacks and drinks in the cupboard or fridge along with luxury bathroom toiletries. Lots of helpful instructions about how the appliances worked and information on local restaurants and places to visit were provided. We wouldn't hesitate to come back again.

Excellent location, close to all the major attractions, and yet we never heard a thing from the streets unless a window was open. Even then it was mostly just the beautiful chirping of birds in the morning. The suggestions for places to eat were fantastic and communication with the host was quick and easy. The bed was so comfortable that it was not a good idea to lay on it unless it was time for bed, we’d fall asleep midday otherwise! He truly thought of everything to make the stay feel like home. I can’t find a single thing to complain about. I included a picture of one of my favorite places to sit, the bedroom window sill.

The curtains are sheer so it’s very bright early in the mornings so I recommend to pack a sleep mask.

Host was super friendly and welcoming. The apartment is impeccable, very spacious and beautifully renovated and the location could not be better. Very soundproof so although there are many restaurants below the noise is completely blocked out which is amazing. if you are visiting Ljubljana you must book this place, it will not disappoint.

This was a wonderful place to stay. It was right in the middle of the old town and very close to everything else. We were met by the owner by our parking place (we had a car which can't come into the area since it's pedestrianized). He helped us take out luggage to the apartment and then showed us all the features it had to offer. There was some goodies to get us started in the fridge and a fancy Italian coffee machine in the kitchen. It was a great kitchen for a visit although we ate out much of the time so didn't make use of all its features. The hidden toilet/laundry room was brilliantly executed and we were very happy to be able to do some laundry while we were there. We liked being able to have the windows open so we could hear the happy noise of people having fun but when we wanted quiet, all we had to do was shut the windows and then we couldn't hear any noise at all. There was a computer, an adapter and a tv and sound system in the apartment - all of which were very convenient.

The shower lost hot water in the evenings after a short amount of time. Otherwise everything was great!

The location was fantastic, bed very comfortable and such a quiet apartment. We loved the recommendations the host gave us and found these so helpful.

The location was perfect - central and easy to get around in pedestrianised area. Lively during the day and evening with restaurants and bars nearby but exceptionally quiet overnight with no traffic.
