BelgiumA rather grandiose hotel. Wish I could have stayed longer. Service is excellent. Breakfast and dinner are included and served in a large room with classical music playing. There's a bar, too. In front of the hotel there's a beautiful park with a fountain. It's very close to the drinking hall and there's plenty of other things to do, some of which are included in the price.

SloveniaIt might be time for the sauna facilities to undergo renovation or updating. There are three Finnish saunas and one Turkish sauna available. While they are all functional and clean, they do feel somewhat outdated.
Imagine a splendid hotel from the Austro-Hungarian era. High ceilings, magnificent chandeliers, and a bar staff that is exceptionally professional and refined. It’s a bygone era captured in the beautiful Grand Hotel. The food is excellent and diverse. The room on the third floor was clean and tranquil. In the enchanting park in front of the hotel, there is a music pavilion. Every morning and afternoon in early August, they play classical music—Strauss, Vivaldi, and the like. It feels as if you’re transported to another time. We felt truly relaxed. It was fantastic!

AustraliaFor an out of the way place, some organised activities would be good. A pianist at the grand piano? Maybe just not the weekend I stayed? Mainly elderly people like me. Only ever 1 or 2 in the mineral baths, sauna etc. Needs vitalising. However a wow experience not available at home.
Amazing faded grandeur. An experience. Lovely gardens and friendly staff. A lovely premium room although carpet needs replacing. A beautiful area to drive around. I visited the castle at Dvor Velika Tabor and Celje.
