How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. There are many stairs to get into rooms, therefore not too handy with little kids and strollers. Sadly, it wasn’t very clean, the shower door was broken and mattresses and pillows are way too old and uncomfortable so we didn’t get much rest.
Great location if you want to continue your travels next day. It’s nice and pretty new. Shared refrigerator with freezer is available, which was useful.

Beds are not confortable and are hard. For a night sleep is okay. No human contact..there is no reception. However this might be okay for flexible checkin/out.
Good location for a night sleep during long trips. Nice they offer a shared fridge/freezer in case it is needed for storing things cool.

It was clean but not very. At the shower, hot water seems like it stayed only in the sun light. In my room (7), it was an easy smell of stayed water under the wood floor.
Parking place was good and breakfast was very good

You can hear everything what happen in corridor, especially when kids are loud 😩
We liked stuff and you can charge with Tesla, you need to call and they turn it on ☺️, but it costs

Parking is available, yet not clear signs on it. We tought it belongs to some other Facility.

The room, although big and spacious, was a bit cold.
The staff were very friendly. When we arrived there was no one at reception, but a cook came out of the kitchen to greet us, speaking good English. The manager arrived shortly afterwards to greet us. They even offered us an upgrade to a superior and more spacious room. The breakfast was excellent! A perfect stop if, like us, you're heading east, as it's easy to get to from the motorway and close enough to the centre of Maribor, which is a very nice little town.

The room was pokey,there was nothing inviting about the decor,ie no pictures on the wall,no kettle for making a cuppa and the person meeting us wouldn't win the personality of the year award .the shower was old fashioned with the hose fixed to the wall making it impossible to hold it in your hand

People on the reception did not operate with information that I would like to have small bad for the children. And when I asked for that they want 10 Euros more.

No elevator and we got room in the highest floor. Small choice for dinner, even though it was supposed to be bistro with dinner till 9pm, we were offered only two pizza. But it was good and the staff was very friendly. Thank you.

the strong smell in the halls from cooked food was going into our rooms and clothes, even if we we re trying to get as fast as possible in the rooms. that and the cold from our room kept me up all night. we we're the last room and the highest floor with our kids and it was cold!
a tranzit location that is clean and useful so you don't get into the city. if you do not have other expectation and take it as it is - is great. beds are comfortable and room is clean !

There was onion smell coming from the restaurant into the room(so much that all our clothes smelled like it). The radiators were not working well, so we had to use the air conditioner to make heat(not great during the night).
Location was really good(10mins drive from the center and 15mins from the ski slopes), the room was big, dogs were allowed.
