It was decent, but for the price we paid we expected more. The main problem was the noise, very thin walls and doors and squeaky stairs so we heard everything happening in the house, also people running up and down and making noise late at night. The room didn’t feel very fresh. Towels were more like hand towels than bath towels.

Staff was very helpful and friendly! Good location, walking distance from the lake. Room was good for a one night stay but nothing special.

The rooms are basic but confortable. The host is very nice, she gave us a lot of useful information on Bled. The house is in a quite location outside of tourist place, but you reach the lake with a 10 min walk. Unfortunately we only stay one night, the place is very nice and woud have deserved a longer stay.

Minor in the scale of things - the hostel is on a road that has some traffic noise. Bunk beds have that iconic squeek when you roll around. It's a 15-20 min walk to the Lake, but easy enough walk. Bus stop on the door but they operate about every hour so you need to be strict on timing.

Maya and her staff were so lovely and generous with offers to help, tips for the local area etc. They really went above and beyond at every opportunity. Beds were comfortable, bedding, towels, bathrooms all clean. Fridge to store food and kitchen to cook. We had the large family room with a shared bathroom which was great for a spacious room to share, and bathrooms were easily accessible and kept well clean. It was a very cost effective option for the area

We were warmly welcomed by the host, who shared great excursion tips. Their thoughtfulness stood out—when it rained, they offered to dry our clothes in the dryer. The shared kitchen was clean and worked perfectly. A truly pleasant stay!

A few things need repairing. Everything works but it is in need of some TLC. If you don’t have a car, it’s probably handier to stay more centrally. We weren’t given the room we’d actually booked.

The host was really lovely and there was a nice atmosphere in the hostel. It is a 20 minute walk from the beach in one direction and the town in the other so it was quiet. Probably move convenient if you have a car. There is a small shared kitchen which we found really handy. A really relaxed place to stay

The only downside was the bathroom - it could definitely be in better condition. But for a short stay, it's perfectly fine.

Very friendly staff and great value for money I really appreciated the kindness and helpfulness of the staff - they made the stay very pleasant. The location is also good: around a 20-minute walk to the lake, which is a nice and relaxing stroll. Overall, a great value for money, especially considering how close it is to the town center.

The mattresses are quite soft and an insect screen on the window would be nice.

We spent one night here, the hostess was nice, the family room was clean and had a private bathroom. The lake is easily accessible and it is a nice walk there. We were satisfied with this accommodation and would recommend it.

for the next guests, it is a good thing to have some cups in the bedroom, as well as a coffee/ tea making set. Not a big miss, just a thought

The hostess was great, she had a nice surprise for our 14 year old daughter - with bunting and balloons in the room and even a card! She is full of local knowledge as well, about what to see, where to eat etc. We went for a swim in the lake, right where she recommended - it was great! The shower is great - strong, hot.
