I was happy when I left

Because I booked this accommodation really in hurry, I did not read the previous reviews ☹. If I would read them, I never went for it. The deplorable condition of the building - it is located below the level of the road, the house is damp, the plaster in the rooms is chipped. I didn't notice in the description that it didn't have air conditioning so in the room was very hot, you could not open the window due to the vehicles on the frequent road was very noisy even over night! The room and actually the whole building smells of mold I asked the host to change the room he was very rude and said: “You bought a Dacia Sandero and then you ask me why isn't it a VW Golf?”. Unfriendly owner. Bathroom and shower were shared between on the corridor, and not clear (picture attached) found blood in the radiator etc.…

!! BE CAREFULL !! The hotel rooms are health hazard. The smell of mold is unbearable, also in the "restaurant". You can see it from outside already, the hotel is in terrible condition. The pictures on the booking.com must be very old, you can see the same building, but in totally different state. And again, it is not just how it looks like, it's MOLD!!!! Very dangerous!. Maybe he has some nice rooms, but this room was down on floor 0, room nr.4. Booking.com should send some health inspectors there, and not advertise this property on booking.com. We complained to Booking.com, and they cannot return the money if the owner doesn't say OK. This is also terrible customer service from booking.com. It's been 2 weeks since we complained to booking.com, but there is no solution, they are not replying to emails, and through the phone I spoke to them 8 times, they are nice, but nothing happens. Terrible hotel and booking.com customer service. Read also other reviews for this property, they are saying the same thing, sort for score and you will see.

Everything was great!

Our host was rude. Even with the first words he started a conversation where he had no intention in listening to us, but we had to listen to him, "how tired he is, how hard the season was". As far as I am concerned, the buyer is always right and even if the host is not happy, he should never, under any circumstances be unpolite or in our case even harsh and rude with a paying customer! He was acting as if he was making a favour to us for letting us in his place. It was a place for which we paid and we didn't expect too much, but a normal communication would have been nice. I only advise this place in case of emergency and if you are able to deal with rude and really hard personalities. No wonder the place was almost empty, only one brave couple was there and us.

Nice and talkative owner, calm backyard

Good location and stat were friendly and nice.

Bathroom & shower were shared between 3 rooms, which was not clear from the description/ add. Also, there was no hot / warm water for all, it was completely cold at the end. Lastly, shower was full of cigarette smoke, and some guests were sitting outside of it, and it was coming in.

The guesthouse is very clean and cosy. The view from the rooms was beautiful, we could see a river and some of the old town. The host is very hospitable and nice, we had a wonderful chat. The town itself is also very charming and worth a visit. Highly recommend!

I can only speak superlatively about the accommodation and the host.

There was no such thing.

I didn't stay to say if I liked something. It was not possible to sleep in a room that was an oven and it was too noisy.

The room they gave me is not for hot weather. I didn't notice in the description that it didn't have air conditioning and assumed it would as the area is hot in the summer. The room was 30°c, surely it can be more. I opened the whole window but all I managed to do was let a huge mosquito in as right below there is a little river and somewhere there was a small waterfall and combined with the vehicles on the road next door it was very noisy. I left it and left while I have paid for it. I found another hotel with air conditioning to rest as I was coming from a long road trip in the heat and have to continue the next one. Not a hot season at all.

We stayed for a single night in a family room, 2 adults 2 kids. The room was spacious and the 3 beds were comfortable. It was quiet place. Shared toilet and shower were clean and ok. Good breakfast prepared by the owner. It has plenty of parking. The host was very friendly and helpful, speaks good english, He gave us directions to go for a walk to visit the town and castle. You can have good Slovenian beer and talk with the owner at the bar.
