We had a beautiful stay at this fantastic ECO Lodge nestled in the hills above Lake Bled just a 10 minute walk from Vintgar Gorge. Actually we didn’t know about the location so much before we booked so it was a pleasant surprise to skip all the parking & shuttle bus stress so we could arrive at Vintgar very early and escape the queues. It is 3Km to the lake but we were happy to be away from majority of tourism out in the countryside. The lodge is lovely and the temperature control system really works so don’t worry about air conditioning. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with jacuzzi baths & showers. What really made our trip though are the wonderful team though. Nina is an excellent host and was already messaging me before our stay to give advice and arrange restaurant bookings and trip ideas. We basically had a full 3 day itinerary all planned at check in. Sara is just as lovely and prepares a sumptuous breakfast every morning, making sure to accommodate us early on our Vintgar morning. Both work with the team and deal with any issues quickly & professionally. We took Nina’s advice and visited Triglav Vogel & Lake Bohinj which we massively recommend once you have seen Bled for a very different experience away from the crowds and more in nature. Hiking on th hills and swimming on the north Ukanc beach is a big recommendation. We had a great time in Slovenia and really hope to return in the future. We had no problems...

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was very cosy and welcoming, making it easy to feel at home. The staff were super-friendly and attentive – especially Katerina, who went above and beyond to make the stay memorable. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of healthy options to start the day right. On top of that, I really appreciated the helpful advice and recommendations, which made it possible to make the most out of my time there. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back!

Our room was amazing, with a fantastic view and a nice, relaxing environment. Vintgar Gorge was 7 minutes walk, but we could also take a walk to a local restaurant. Our apartment was clean, huge, with a very comfortable bed. It was hard to go outside it was so amazing inside. The staff was amazingly nice, communication was super smooth. You could feel that this place welcomes you, your dog and your family, so it was a pleasure to stay and I'm happy we found this hidden gem.

Super friendly welcome. Stylish family accommodation with great views, we had the family suite 'Bled' on the top floor, which had kitchen facilities. Our teens loved the hot tub and mini sauna in the huge bathroom. Great location if you have a car, as away from the busyness of Bled. Super nice breakfast.

Lake Bled is a bit too far to walk to, so get up early to ensure some lakeside parking! Mezzanine where the children sleep is creaky in the night until they settle / stop shifting in bed.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made our holiday even more enjoyable. The property offers everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. We really appreciated the effort put into sustainability without compromising on essential facilities. The breakfast was also excellent—fresh, varied, and satisfying. Highly recommended!

French balcony instead of real balcony

Beautiful location, close to Vintgar gorge, lovely and friendly staff, the best breakfast ever. Cool room with a jacuzzi.

We liked everything

Very clean and well organised. A great location if being directly in Bled itself is not important. We had a car so it was easy to get to and from Bled. We also used “Alen” the taxi driver to take us to and from Bled when we went out for meals. Around €18 each way. Big bonus of the property was being a 10-minute walk from the start of the Vintgar Gorge.

Highly recommended! The onwner, manager and staff are welcoming and very responsive. Thier advise, help and willingness are exceptional. The hotel is very clean with very large public areas. It is located on the outskirts of Bled in a very quiet neighbourhood.

Really friendly helpful staff. Beautiful property. Gorgeous location. Absolutely stunning.

A little far away from Bled, 6min drive for us but I can imagine it’s worse on busy season.

Miss Nina the manager is the best person. since the day we booked she made sure that we can reach out to her for the food requirements to how to reach the property and she made the stay a one to remember. My family was indeed lucky to have witnessed the hospitality and suggestions from her. Equally great with the food and house cleaning is Sara. She made sure that whatever food requirements were mentioned by us (as we are strict vegetarians) were met with in her kitchen. Also her guidance for the places in and around the city were also equally helpful just like Nina's guidance. Cannot stop thanking you both enough. You truly made my Family stay a memorable one.

That our stay was short 😜

Great place and very friendly staff especially Sara & Nina ❤️ We really enjoyed our stay despite of rainy weather. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was perfect so we slept very well. We also liked private sauna in the bathroom and automatic blinds. A small inconvinience could be a lack of elevator. For us it was just an extra workout ;) but I can imagine it could be a problem for someone else. We hope to come back in the future and higlhy recommend this place!

Great breakfast Very helpful and super friendly

We were here as a couple with our dog and absolutely loved our stay. Sara was our host and she was very friendly and helpfull. The room was spotless and luxurious. Amazing location and the breakfast was very nice. Highly recommend!
