How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewReally cute campsite with a lovely host in a beautiful location. Would totally recommend the tent option if you want some of the campsite flair, but still want to sleep in a real bed.

Verified reviewThe Camp is on fantastic location, near Logarska dolina and Owner is more than halpfull. Small raft on a creek was all day playground for my kid and the river is warm enough to chill out on a hot summer day.

Verified reviewA charming small campsite on a site of an old saw mill. Excellent facilities - a well-equipped kitchen in the open (tastefully designed) with nice places to eat, impeccably clean toilets and showers, a stream meandering through the camp (perfect for children) and Savinja river (for older). The site show it is designed with love, with small things added in a charmingly chaotic fashion. Very friendly, relaxed owners. The best thing: an incredible selection of fresh bread and pastries in the morning, brought by a local van, and another van with fresh milk, cheese and yogurt from a nearby farm. Their elder and lemon yogurt was the best yogurt I've ever had.

Verified reviewThe camp itself is very nice, the owner/manager is very helpful. A small van comes every morning with fresh bakery products. One day another one came with milk products, salami etc. These are all great! The public kitchen of the camping is very good, a lot of space to eat, fridge to store food etc. The water block (toiltes, showers) are outstandigly clean and also modern. The nearby fish restaurant serves really good trout, worth visiting. The small cottage we stayed was very nice, modern, built over a small creek which is a great idea.
The presence of the horse wasps at night around the shower block and around our small cottage was scary, especially for my daughter. One night we could not stay outside of our cottage, on the small terrace to play cards as at least of horse wasps came to the light. Indeed scary. Their must be a nest somehere around the camp and it would be better to remove that. The small cottages (called Fluss 1/2) have only one door on one side, so air cannot circulate, they become very hot during the day, and it is quite difficult to cool them down when the outside temperature already drops at night. It would be better to have a small window on the back, so the air can flow through. We considered the camp a bit overcrouded. As most of the visitors were with caravans and they did not use the public facilities, this was not annoying, but I think it would be nicer to host a little bit less guests.
Thank you for the review. We are aware of the wasps unfortunately we were still unable to find the nest. But will find an expert to remove them from the property.

Verified reviewBeautiful area near river, friendly staff
Smell in the tent :-(
We are sorry for the smell. The farmer on the other side has chickens and for some reason he constantly opened the doors. He should have implemented a climatized area for his birds. But he is impossible to talk to. The smell is now gone, so sorry for the bad experience.

Verified reviewThe owners are very warm and very helpful people. The camping is exactly what one would wish for: in the middle of nature, near a river, wooden tables, wooden kitchen and a gathering place around a camp fire. Children play in the smaller water stream that crosses the campsite and there are plenty of hiking possiblities. I stayed 2 nights in a wooden cabin and one night in a tent with a wooden open roof. Both had nice and firm matrasses. Oh and yes! No mosquitos here!! I had a meeting up in the mountains and since I came to the camping with public transport, the owner took me there and picked me up and did that as a service. Whenever I will go to that beautiful area again I will definitely come back here at Kamp na Otoku!
I couldn't really find things that I didn't like here. Since the philosophy is: play and talk to each other, which I thought was refreshing, there was no wifi. Everybody was open and social because of that! I could still use my 4G connection so in case of needing to search info or make calls you could use your phone without a problem.
Thank you very much for your kind words. We loved having you as a guest. Hope to see you again soon.

Verified reviewThis was our favourite place to stay during our 2 week trip travelling in Slovenia. The tent under the wooden huts was a win with the children, as well as the river raft and tree swings. Great value with all the kitchen facilities included. The bathroom and shower areas are clean with hot water and are well equipped. The hosts are super helpful and friendly and were always around in case anything was needed. Highly recommend. We will be back! Thanks again.
Thank you for your kind review. We are happy you liked it.

Verified reviewThe camp is nice, small and family friendly. There are beautiful houses right on the stream so you can sleep right above the water. The hosts are very accommodating and kind. The camp has a shared kitchen with all the necessary equipment and fridges for shared use. The camp has a specially equipped area for barbecuing as well as equipped areas for eating. Sanitary units are clean and fragrant. A 5-minute walk along the river leads to the trout farm, where you can eat well and at an acceptable price. The camp location is suitable for exploring the Logar Valley (Logarska dolina) and other nearby attractions.
