Our stay here was wonderful! The location couldn’t have been better - right at the heart of the Brda area, close to many charming small towns, great wineries, and excellent restaurants. The room itself was fantastic - beautifully designed and full of warmth and character. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of fresh and tasty selections that made each morning a treat. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming and comfortable place in Brda.

This area was so beautiful. Would highly recommend doing winery tours in the area if you have the chance. The room was cozy and the breakfast was absolutely delicious.

The highlight of our entire trip was the breakfast at Maravida. A fresh and yummy spread was prepared for us at the time of our choosing, and arranged on a little table overlooking the entire wine country! It was so special and really made us feel like we were on holiday.

The room we rented was large, extremely well furnished with high quality new furnishings. The bed was very comfortable as was the large attractive sofa. The bathroom was again large with a very efficient shower with plenty of hot water day and night. The A/C was well placed and cooled the room in the high temperatures which were raging outdoors without blowing the cold blasts over the bed. Breakfast was a revelation, quite honestly one of the best we’ve had in our various journeys with fresh fruit and tomatoes straight from the owners garden, a selection of meat, cheeses, omelets, yoghurts and cereals, juices, coffee and teas : very generous and greatly appreciated. Thank you Jakob for hosting us. Private parking on site is available.

Nothing, it was perfect

Everything was perfect, the room was new and beautifully decorated, everything was spotless, the breakfast was outstanding. Within a walking distance to beautiful restaurants and views. The hospitality and warmth of the hosts was unparalleled, we loved the homemade apricot jam we had at breakfast so we were sent home with a big jar of it- what more can we say?

Absolutely loved this place. Friendly family and an awesome breakfast. Very close to some great wineries. Smartno is a great visit for drinks and dinner as well. If you are staying in the area, stop looking for lodging. You will be extremely happy here. I promise.

Very minor detail so did not impact our stay......We booked the smallest room available ( which we were well aware of at time of booking - only room left so that is a great sign of a wonderful place) and the room was very well appointed, and I understand it would be a bit tight, however WE would have liked a second chair with a back near desk area so we could both sit at desk. They did have an ottoman to sit on but without a back for support. There are 3 rooms, so the other 2 rooms are a bit bigger so they do have sitting for 2. The outside space is a nice alternative to sitting in the room and is very nice; there is also a covered terrace upstairs that we used due to rain with plenty of seating for all.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The area and property were very nice and Jacob was a great host, he was always available to answer questions or get us champagne glasses on a rainy day! :). He left us extra coffee pods for the morning which we highly appreciated, and was able to provide an umbrella due to rain. Breakfast was very nice each morning......Room is very modern and new, as well as the entire property grounds, very pretty. Outside space is very nice, and there is a also a covered terrace upstairs that we used one afternoon due to rain. Location was convenient to some very nice winery visits and restaurants. Would HIGHLY recommend Maravida House!
