Very cozy room and a wonderful host! I felt extremely welcomed and it felt more like a homestay which I loved :) The room is as advertised and was what I expected! It was nice to stay a little outside the city center for some quiet, I was very relaxed throughout my stay.

Mosquitoes are really bad. I had to keep the windows open because of how hot it is in the summer and so many fly in. There isn't much to be done about that, just keep it in mind. Some screens for the windows or a fan for the room may help with that!

Really nice and kind landlord. She did everything what I want and gave me a good tips. Room has everything what I need. Price is really good for ljubljana. Soo if you want spend some good time here, choose this apartment Dominik Turek Czech Republic

The house has at least three units. The neighbours appear annoyed at directing people to the correct unit. A sign should make things obvious

A few things that were mentioned which were available, such as kettle, laundry facilities, hair dryer, toiletries etc were all in the bathroom which felt like a cluttered utility room (less organised than the photo shown), there was no kitchen. In there, was washing in the washing machine, as well as a pile in front of it, which had been left in through the evening and morning which made the room smell damp (the smell made me think they’d been in there longer). There were no toiletries available to use and there were empty toilet rolls on the top of the toilet and one half roll on the shelves in front of the toilet. This was all visible as I was being shown around. No curtain on the bathroom ceiling to floor length window so outside can see you sat on the toilet from the side (luckily didn’t seem like many houses were facing this way to see in but felt a little exposed!). The fridge in the room was not plugged in, therefore I wasn’t able to use it and the lamp and plugs were far away from the bed. I arrived when it was dark and I was shouted to come to the back of the building down the side alley/walk way, which is where the property is. But as it was dark I was cautious of where I was walking as there were odd pacing slabs put down and the pathway was not clear. There are no signs to be able to point out the property so it was hard to find (especially in the dark!). On Booking.com it states somewhere that the property accepts card, however it does not. She allowed me to stay and go to the cash point in the morning to pay. It’s not to “avoid” but just to be wary of it possibly not meeting expectations and to know that additional facilities are all stored in the bathroom, some not accessible. There are only 3 rooms available so seems like little improvements wouldn’t be too difficult and it would be a lovely place to stay. A few small changes to how the additional things are provided or stores would have improved my stay here.

The landlady was nice. The room was acceptable.

The bathroom was dirty, with dead bugs and dirty toilet and that didn't change for the time I stayed. It also had remnants of a kitchen inside and the hair dryer lives between the dishes. The worst thing is that the payment options were completely opposite of what is claimed on the page, and this was the reason we booked this property for business travel and caused many incoveniences.

The host was not friendly, she did not even tell me goodbye when I left, I felt very insulted.

The host, Irene, is lovely and welcoming and the house is bright and airy!

I feel bad leaving a mediocre review but I feel I need to give authentic information to future guests. I also draw the line at running out of toilet paper in the bathroom! There was a duvet cover on the bed with no duvet so it was a very cold sleep, and the room smelled fusty. There was cooking stuff in the bathroom which was odd.

Lovely host who genuinely cares about her stayers. We had many conversations about everything. Great location, close to the city centre. Quiet residential neighbourhood. Comfy bed, good shower, Restaurants within a 10 minute walk (to the right of the church).

The owner was very friendly and helpful. The location looks strange on maps, at the end of a small lane, but it is very quiet although not far from the riverside and old town. So you are staying in a down-to-earth residential area away from the crowds of tourists, but can walk to all the sights very easily once you have your bearings. There some really nice bars, cafes and restaurants both along the minor road towards the old town and along the river. The apartment is clean and really great value if you don't mind a shared bathroom. There is a small shared patio and a garden. A spiral staircase woud make this unsuitable if you have mobilty issues, but otherwise great, a relaxing place to be.
