It’s in a great location for walks, a great breakfast.

It would have been nice to have a fan at night.

We liked the staff. They were kind, helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The breakfast was excellent as well as all the food the restaurant offers. This accomodation is surrounded by the nature so it's quiet and peaceful.

My stay at this hotel exceeded all expectations. It’s located in a beautiful mountain setting, perfect for relaxation and exploring nature. All facilities were clean, well-maintained, and fully functional. The staff was exceptionally kind, helpful, and always ready to assist. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely love to come back in the future.

Planinski dom Savica was the perfect location for the start of our hut to hut hiking in Triglav. The room was perfect for a family of three, the breakfast was generous and delicious, with eggs made to order. We had dinner there several nights and the fresh fish (orada) was exceptional. Desserts were also very good and we enjoyed several of the homemade ones. Alex worked hard to make us feel at home and create a positive environment. It was quiet at night which we appreciated. Slap Savica is just a 20 minute walk from dom Savica and we were able to do that after dinner. Also easy to walk to Lake Bohinj and enjoy the beautiful views and as long a walk as desired. We walked from dom Savica up to Slap Mostnice which is definitely doable for a day hike. From there we went on to another 2 huts higher up and ended up back at dom Savica for our last night. Everything about it was perfect!

The hotel is really nice, clean, staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfasts were very tasty and location is just amazing (calm, starting point to several hiking trails). We loved this hotel really a lot.

The appartment was simple but very clean and we had everything we needed. The place was beatiful and the staff was very helpful and nice.

The starting point of many hikes are just outside the door, so in that regards the location is convenient. Otherwise, you have to drive to get to other restaurants, the lake, supermarket etc.

On Booking, it said half board could be added. This was in fact not possible, as the restaurant closed at 5pm when we were there (in July). The place felt a bit deserted then when the restaurant closed down, and there was no one operating the reception.

Right in the heart of walking trails for Summer. A comfortable and clean stay with welcoming staff.

A little tighter space wise than I had imagined for four adults but worked perfectly well for two nights.

Perfect cottage in the midst of beautiful nature of Slovenia! Beautiful waterfall is only about 20mins from the cottage. The waiters were very nice to us! After difficult hiking they were willing to prepare us food, even when the restaurant was closing in 5 mins. They were also nice to help us with hiking plans. Was our first trip to Slovenia and because of this experience we would love to come back again!

Nature and cleanliness

Cold at night without heating, but it is early into the summer so it’s understandable.

From 7 in the evening, all the people disappeared and it was just us and the mountains :).

Everything was OK.

The location is fantastic with many hiking destinations nearby. The staff was very nice and helpful and the breakfast was very tasty. The beds were very comfortable and the WiFi strong enough to watch the movies in the evening. There is also a free parking available. We loved it!
