Reviews of Hotel Krvavec 3 stars

Due to an internal issue, we were able to book a room on the day that hotel would close for the season. Everyone was so kind to still accommodate us and prepare breakfast. The hotel is up on the mountain and has a great view, also the sunset there is amazing. The room is a bit small but is comfortable, the breakfast was delicious. I’d come in the right period, you will be able to enjoy a lot of activities around like hiking, cable car, etc.

The fact that we needed to pay 10€ to enter the park and access the hotel area, even though we were just staying the night.

Very kind staff, open to solve anything (we were late for dinner service because of a traffic jam, they waited for us). The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, with a look over the whole Logar mountain range, we were stunned. The road up to the hotel is beautiful, fun, altough a bit long and can have problems with local cows😅 otherwise, i fully recommend this hotel

Amazing location, nice staff. They communicated very nicely, handled late check-in without a problem. Nice mountain biking and hiking paths during summer, and nice slopes during winter. Amazing view from the terrasse with sunbeds. Great atmosphere overall.

The breakfast quickly ran out even at around nine, while it meant to be provided till ten. Wanted to get some scrambled eggs - empty, then some beans - empty, all 3 metal warmers were completely empty, disappointment after disappointment. Then told someone from the staff that I'd like to eat some scrambled eggs, so they've refilled it, but by then there was no bakery to grab a bite of bread. In the mean time I wanted to drink a cappuccino, but I only got milk foam without coffee from the machine. They eventually refilled that too. So the breakfast was quite disappointing, all this on a single night stay.

The place was brilliant, with perfect location and such a good staff. Who was so helpful during our stay.

The cable car not operate

The hotel is in a very nice location, I recommend coming early for dinner and breakfast, for some reason they are not replenished, so if you come later, you have no choice... the mattresses were too soft for us, but that's a matter of preference...

The hotel guests generally complain about the tough way up the mountain, cleanness of the rooms and food. Fair enough. My experience took it to the next level. I was bitten by bed bugs. I found one actually. Considering crappy yellowish pillow cases, bed bugs are not so surprising, but still… The receptionist was shocked and called the owner. They promised to call me/email me and talk about refund. Never happened. I was compensated by not paying the tourist tax and a beer. :) Nice, huh? Location is really cool, but I suggest you think twice and read all critical comments before you book.

Nice view

Difficult to find the location( a long road of 40/45 min). Almost all facilities are closed during summer time. The food is not very good. Only a few options to do trekking.

Fantastic location right on the slopes. Fairly basic but clean and cosy. Food was ok, good for a 3 star place, we always found something we liked. Stanka on the reception was very helpful and made sure everything went smoothly for us. Loved being able to ski to and from the door, hotel is right next to 3 different chairlifts to different parts of the resort.

The additional bed in our triple room wasn’t too comfortable (though my teenager slept fine on it).

Check what is on your bill, they did not let us see the bill before paying, than we paid and got bill on mail and we saw they charged us more dinners than we consumed, we told them that and their answer was that they will check it and contact us, they are not answering our mails and calls now. We waited 20 minutes in front of parking ramp because you need to call them to open it, they did not answer for 20 minutes. Very bad experience, only good thing is location of hotel
