The hostel has 4 dorm rooms sharing 2 bathrooms, which seemed to work fine for the 4 days I was there. What makes this hostel special is the culture that Ryan and Katja have created. An ample buffet breakfast is provided (with cereal, yoghurt, toast, fruit, eggs, cucumber, tomatoes and home made cake)and guests can choose to sit at the table and talk (most do), or sit in one of the many outdoor spaces. Guests are also able to cook their own meals. Both Ryan and Katja are super friendly and always available to give travel tips. This is a quiet, friendly hostel run by 2 people who care about what they're doing. I'd definitely stay there again

The best location if you need some peace, and a good walk down to Bled. The owners are the most amazing people! Breakfast is one of the best hostel breakfasts I've had.

RiverSide Chill Hostel is such a beautiful place, and what truly makes it special are Katja and Ryan. Their warmth and hospitality create a unique atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. The location is stunning, perfect for relaxing by the river or exploring the surroundings, and the vibe is always friendly and welcoming. I can’t recommend this hostel enough — it’s one of those rare places you’ll always want to come back to.

If you are fine with sleeping with multiple people in a dorm, then there is really no disadvantage to stay here.

Great host, very friendly. Great place, nice garden with hammocks near the river and a terrace to connect to other guests in the evening. Great location as a starting point to a hike in the Julian Alps, to visit the gorgeous gorges around, or to visit Bled by Bus or even on foot (ca. 1 hr to walk).

The place is outstanding to discover Bled ! Just above the river, 15min away by foot of Vintgar Gorge ... the place is amazing The host is amazing, gave us some crazy recommandation for the next steps of our tour and he is super welcoming !!

This hostel is perfect. Ryan and Katya have a gift for hospitality! I stayed a night longer than planned because I didn't want to leave. The included breakfast was so good, there were many places to relax and socialize and the hostel is located in a beautiful area. I would highly recommend this hostel.

Property was beautiful right in nature with a stream running down the backyard to sit and watch. Room was comfortable and only had 6 beds and the owners were super friendly.

Everything. Katja and Ryan make you feel like home from day one. It’s a very peaceful place, a bit way from Bled but closer to the Vintgar Gorge. Buses can drop you near the hostel so that’s ok. I slept very comfortably with the sound of the river. Thank you again for everything!

If depending on public transport, bus schedules can be a bit of a constraint. Otherwise it’s a 1-hour walk from Bled

Amazing place, comfortable and impeccably clean, with a great outdoor area / bonfire space. Katya and Ryan were great hosts, incredibly helpful on hikes and logistics. Breakfast is included and is really nice, when I came they had homemade cake with blueberries they had picked

definitely one of the best hostels i’ve ever been to. i had such an amazing experience - ryan and katja are the best hosts ever. they do such an amazing job bringing people together. it’s clear how much they care about each person’s experience at the hostel and in life. they are so easy to talk to and go far out of their way to make sure everyone is comfortable. 100% recommend and wouldn’t consider anywhere else to stay when i (hopefully) return to bled someday! all the best in the meantime :)

No negatives! I had a car so it was really easy to park. If you don’t, there might be a bit more walking + public transport.

Really awesome spot- right on the river, & when I arrived there was mist over it & it looked magical. Nice facilities and regular beds instead of bunk beds so a bit more comfortable / quiet. Probably the best hostel sleep I’ve gotten! Really nice owners with helpful suggestions, and the price was good. It was a short stay (only 1 night & had to leave early because of the weather forecast), & a great spot if you’ve rented a car & will climb Triglav from Krma Valley.

Everything! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the building is cozy and welcoming, and the plethora of outdoor seating options (even hammocks by the river) were simply amazing. I loved the location so near Vintgar gorge, too! I will absolutely return here, it was just what I needed.
