We wish we could’ve stayed longer!

What a wonderful place to stay! Carmen and her team have been very nice and welcoming from the moment we stepped into this place. It is easy to reach by car and there are plenty of parking spots. It’s a very peaceful place to take it easy for a while. There are multiple houses, but we felt there was more than enough privacy. The sauna and the hot tub were amazing too! Breakfast was also very good and I like the fact that they didn’t serve the exact same things for the two breakfast that we have had. You can tell they put a lot of thought in the design of these houses, everything works well and we loved the little touches. There are also plenty of amazing restaurants nearby which would only take a very short drive.

​ There is a lot to like about this village, starting with the friendly staff. The check-in was simple and we have given a lot of information about what to do during the stay while tasting the exquisite wine offered. We got a cabin with good privacy where we could enjoy the attached hot tub. The cabin itself was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We liked the mood and the philosophy of the place; the whole village is well-kept and parking was easy. We also enjoyed the Finnish sauna. The breakfast was an amazing experience, enjoyed on the terrace with a view of the valley.

Our room was very comfortable and clean. Water in jacuzzi was warm and the views were breathtaking. So much attention was put in every detail. It is quiet and great for relaxing in nature. We loved breakfast service. Additionally, staff was very friendly, they offered us some great advice on how to spend our days in Vipava valley. Overall, this was an amazing trip and we owe great thanks to the team.

We have visited Theodosius for the third time now and, as always, everything was exceptional. The warm welcome, the effort put to make our stay as pleasant as possible, the breakfast, houses... Everything is 10/10.

This place is really amazing, peaceful, quiet, but still close to a lot of Slovenia's famous attractions (Postojna cave, Škocjan cave, Piran..) and a 40min drive to Trieste in Italy. Our host was kind, really helpful and hospitable, even got my wife a borthday surprise. Breakfast was great, we really enjoyed it. We will definitely come again!

Privacy in the bathroom could be a bit improved as there is only a tiny curtain that doesn't cover the entire glass panel between the rooms.

Staff is super friendly and proactive, always making sure that you have a great time. The valley is beautiful. The private hot tub is 10/10.

The location is amazing. You are surrounded by nature with beautiful views. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Check in and check out was easy. We are so glad we got the room with a private sauna. Breakfast was a delicious - traditional style with meats, cheeses, bread, yogurt, juice and coffee. There are dining options close by. The restaurant we chose was walking distance.

Outside curtain to aid privacy getting in and out of hot tub blew in the wind and made lights come on and off during the night. Also whilst in hot tub. Heating /ac and lighting controlled on tablet but difficult to understand.

The ladies running the place could not have been nicer, friendlier or more helpful. We immediately felt at home. Loved the peacefulness, views, cabin, outdoor spa with each cabin, personalised details and the breakfast.

Our outdoor tub was quite close to our neighbours, so it would be nice if there was a small partition for extra privacy.
