We missed having an airconditioner in our facilities, as it was very hot in our bedroom and we couldn't open the windows at night, because there weren't bug screens on them. We would have also liked to have breakfast on site, but despite the ratings on Booking, there was no breakfast in summer. It would also be a nice touch for families with small children to have e.g. cribs or small bathtubs, but we could manage without them :)

It was very easy to communicate with the reception. As we would have been accomodated by the side of a louder group, we were offered another room, so that we could have a quiet space with our toddler. The view is beautiful. It's very close to all Maribor sights, bit still peaceful.

Hello everyone! Our review of the hotel "Villa Raj" will be positive. During our trip to Slovenia we stayed in 7 hotels, but the stay at the villa was one of the best. No kettle in the room (only coffee mashine). No breakfast in the apartment. Nothing to buy within 2 km around. You have to prepare yourself for this autonomy.

Everything from location and the room, which was charming! You can definitely go by foot to the city if you want, but I would recommend enjoying all the hiking paths and nature nearby! I didn't take the breakfast, but from the smell, it was definitely worth taking next time ☺️

The a bathroom was a little bit smelly from the sewers.

The staff was super flexible and kind. The room is comfortable, and the view in front of the house is amazing. Extra point for the super sweet and friendly black cat :)

The location is beautiful. There were three baby deer on the grass in front of the hotel when I woke up. Unfortunately, it rained the entire time during my stay, so I couldn’t fully enjoy the nature, but I will definitely go back.

The lights are bizarrely placed in the living room and most are cold white, so the feeling isn't very "cosy". Sounds from downstairs when customers are heading to the breakfast room, I suppose - I didn't check.

Peaceful place, easy to find. Large apartment, large comfortable rooms. We didn't rent an apartment with a large balcony and a view on the valley, anyway it was so hot outside as from the start of the day that we felt more comfortable having breakfast and dinner inside. Nice location outside the city. Makes a break with the heat and (very relative) stress of the city. Maribor is really close; many vineyards are within easy reach.
