Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IcelandIts self service, we didn't get code to get in to the building by email, so we needed to call and then we had problem to get key because the self service wanted me to pay again for the hotel. Check in took more than 30 mín with two phone call.

RomaniaThe room has no AC. In a hot day that will be a real problem. The guy from the reception was real cold. Efficient to make our check in but enable to give us minimum information like if street parking is free or not on weekends. Also, on the hall to our room we don't have lights (or it was broken) so we have to use the phone's flashlights in order to open the door.
The hotel is situated in a very quiet part of Bratislava but close enough for the city center. You have a tram station at 10 minutes walk and from there you make maximum 20 min to the old city. The room is big enough with refrigerator and kitchenette. The breakfast was exactly what you need for an exploring day. You can park on street and you can easily pay with an app. Free in weekend. The hotel has also his own parking but extra cost. You also have a shopping center at 10 minutes walk from property. Check-in and check-out easy to do without staff.

United StatesDecent room, but as many European hotels the bed had two single mattres put together for a double bed. I don't understand what is the rationale for this practice. There is no person at the reception after hours, which can complicate the access quite a bit. There is a kiosk that issues the room key. There is no way to get two keys. At least I didn't figure out how. You have to call a local number to get the reservation number and pin, because the one you get from Booking.com is not it. So if you don't have a local phone that's a problem. When I wanted to pay for a reservation made directly with the hotel, the automated kiosk was unable to process my payment to get a new key. Really frustrating. Fortunately the lady on the phone contacted the I/T person, to issue me a card to pen the room for the night and then came to the hotel in the morning to proess my payment. The carpet on the hallways has some stains that makes it look unclean. The other very frustrating thing was the lack of a place to hang the shower hose in order to take a normal shower. The only way was to hold it with one hand while you soap up with the other. The placement of the tub/shower glass in our bathroom is opposite of where the water faucet is, causing the water to splash and fall outside the tub and getting all the floor wet. Simple things that would make the experience a whole lot better.
The breakfast was good, the room had a sink and refrigerator makiing it easy to prep a snak and clean dishes. Easy access to public transportation and shopping mall. Walking to downtown would take a while.

CroatiaWe are satisfied with the hotel, good value for money. Everything was clean, the room was not very big, but was equipped like a small apartment (kettle, sink, fridge...). We enjoyed coffee in the room, and also the breakfast (included in the price), which was rich and varied. The hotel is a bit away from the center, but we would come again.

The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable and we had a coffee machine. Everything was clean. The location is really great, short walk to tram stop directly into city center. We were positively surprised by the breakfast: the choice was really good, especially on the warm dishes. Check in and out was very easy.
