How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Breakfast and breakfast area were both good. Room was comfy, ample parking space. A bit out of the city area, but still still reachable by bus and tram both. A super market attached to the hotel at the ground floor.

Shower in a bath with a curtain - 90s style the bathroom. Only Slovak public TV channels.
Large room with comfortable beds. Clean and fresh, with tea, coffee, a kettle, and air conditioning. Monitored outside car park is available for €10 per day. Delicious breakfast is served from 6:30-10:00. Tesco Express is located in the hotel building.

Very good rooms. Safe parking for motorbike as out of town. Great breakfast. Cafe and restaurant on site. Little Tesco next door aswell as a pub with food and pizza place across the road There a trolley for taking belongings up to room which is very useful when motorbiking. We were upgraded as booked room wasn't ready, how've I'd only booked it about 10 minutes before arriving 😀

The breakfast is not very varied, but overall it's Ok. And it would be nice to install a vending machine, or throw a couple of snacks in the fridge for late guests. Because there is no restaurants or pubs in the hotel.
Good quality classic hotel. I haven't lived in such a clean room for a long time, the sheets are also tucked in perfectly. The furniture is clean too, not broken. Usually took a hotel in the old town but here is better, cheaper and quieter. No problems with a parking, as in the old town. So I can recommend. By public transport ot taxi it's very close to the center.

Not staying there for another night!
The breakfast was exceptional, so much things to choose from - different types of cereal, cakes, fruit, food. One of the best breakfasts I can recall! While the parking is against a fee, it is very reasonable as they let you park until 16:00 after checking out. The location is also very good, not in the centre but only around 5mins by car. We used taxis.

Still used keys. Which makes me a little nervous about losing them. Lol
It’s still retain some of its traditional past with modern and humorous decor. The receptionist was absolutely the best thing in the world. Diona put me in a room with air conditioning because I have lost my allergy medicine and I could not breathe very well. I got a great night sleep because of this.

Parking in front of the hotel should be included in room rate - charging extra 10 Euros per day is ridiculous. Most hotels of this class offer free parking for registered guests. Checkig in beafore 14:00 should be available. I am sure some rooms are either empty or already cleaned so what's the point of waiting until 14:00? May I suggest the management to review this rigid policy. Some bakery goods (rohlíky / housky) should be crisp - heated before shortly in the oven - they were rubbery like a sponge.
Nice breakfast area with ample food and beverages selection.
