It was too hot in the pool area, with almost no fresh air. Also it's a pity that there is no pool.for children during winter time, but I was aware of this.

The hotel is cozy, meal is delicious, playroom is big and suitable for kids of all ages.

It would not cost that much to put artificial snow so you have slope for skiing and bobsleigh ing. That way you would get what you were actually hoping for. A place that you do not have to leave. There is no bed side lamps available even if you ask for it. So if you want to read a bed time story to your kids you etiher do it with full blown light or you come prepare(thank fully we did), same story with living room(we were in apartment), you either watch tv with light on, which is brighter than sun or in dark, choice is yors. On thursday we said one of the radiator is not working, we were leaving on saturday, nobody looked at it. To be fair it was warm enough even without it. Even this claim to be "family resort" do not expect stools for your kids in rooms, toilets or anywhere so it is easier for them to wash their hands or go to toilet, bring your own.

Resort itself is great, many opportunities for grown ups and kids. Pool, wellness, ice rink, indoor and outside playgrounds. You wont get bored. Breakfast and dinners were pretty good too. Staff was really kind.

We booked with half board service. The quality of the food was okay, but the re-loading was horrible. Sou could eat whatever left by others, not the ones you wanted to eat. The dinner started at 6, clised by 8, but there were very limited choices at 7. This is not a pet friendly hotel even this is stated on Booking...you are not allowed to take your dog to the restaurant. Staff does not speak English...pretty hard to communicate with them. A guy in the bar was aggressive, spoke to us on an unacceptable tone in Slovakian, the only English words he could repeat were `no dog, no dog, no dog` :) So do not consider this hotel as a pet ftiendly place with great service at all.

Rooms were okay, nice and clean, location with a lot of greens was also good. The lady at the reception was kind and friendly.

Location is amazing, however I wish the views are directed towards the High Tatras mountains which isn't the case. This is also a feedback for resort management, I also wish there's more staff so current staff have more support as I thought they were working a long hours with very little help. In order to scale this business this is a necessity.

Enjoyed our stay with Lucivna resort, it was my family 7 one us with a 5 year old kid and the area and resort is perfect for its needs. We liked the food, the staff as well as the wellness within a resort. The Forest nearby is great for a walks and indulging on the fresh mountain air.

We went to this property twice this month. The second time the food was not great (e.g. under-cooked, chewy meat) and the selection was less than previously (e.g. no desert). The staff does not speak English and the menus, maps, directions are only available in Slovak. The ice-skating ring was not available for use neither time.

The hotel area has a lot of amazing opportunities. If you come with kids, you won't be bored, even if you don't leave the venue. The breakfast selection is great. Renting cross-country ski and other winter equipment was great.

Booking.com displays a wrong address which is kilometers away from the actual location. Reception could not speak english at all!) neither could find anyone nearby who could help (bartenders, etc the same), had to write an email. Finally we managed to find the place by our own on the map. Although this was just a small bump in the beginning, staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice location in a huge and very nice park, lots of sporting activities and playground for kids (although it was covered in snow when we went, but perfect outdoor amenities. indoors are also very modern and clean, great indoor playground for kids too. Food was not a large selection but everything tasty, overall it was good.

The receptionist didn't speak English. We found the soft play area last night by ourselves. Only one kind of dessert option is at the dinner.

The duvet was too warm even when we turned off the radiators. And also even with the map given it was hard to find the dinner place. Might not be as big of an issue but for sure during the night some sort of signs would be great as we spent quite a while finding the dinner place on the first night 😄 and also for a double bed having two mattresses was bit of a disappointment.

Breakfast was great! Good selection to choose from. Parking was available also, which I appreciate. Nice to have option for tea and coffee in the room.

The fridge being in the bedroom? I mean why.. and the extension cord for it hanging out the top of the sideboard, tacky! Bin in the bathroom had more rust than a 1960's car and pedal was broken off.. Shower door handle, badly designed.. Only one remote control worked for the TVs, we made do. The toilet was attached to the wall and not very well, every time you sat down you were hoping today wasn't the day it failed. No lamps in the room, only a headboard light strip in the bedroom. Shower head not able to stay up.The grass area by the bar/restaurant was full of dips and holes, so was unpleasant to try to play any sport without twisting an ankle. They give you a map of the whole property but only half of the map is actually in use.. The caged football area has holes in the fence, so every time the ball goes through the fence, you have to climb under to retrieve. The paths and roads were broken and uneven, not all of them, some had nice brick paving. Pools were good and enjoyable.. Staff driving throughout the property and other vehicles go way to fast, so blind corners there and it's quite dangerous if walking.. Staff friendly for the most part but they do seem quite run down, with staff being seen until 10-11pm and then seeing them for Breakfast at 7:30am Cost! You pay a high price for this property and for what you get, it's not value for money for sure.. the views don't justify the cost! With also knowing that Government employees can attend with Hotel for free, if signed off work by a Doctor for to recover from stress or rehabilitation therapy.. it's not great knowing your paying such a high price, while others are getting it completely free.. are we contributing financially to their stay due to this? The restaurant buffet style is quite strange, due to people taking plates from the left side and queuing to the right?? Very confusing and then people just being rude and pushing in front of you anyway..

Breakfast was good, the food overall was good and to a good standard. The location was fantastic. Cleanliness of the rooms were 100%

The price-to-quality ratio was extremely disappointing. The cost wasn’t cheap, but the room was like Harry Potter’s cupboard. To move along the walls, you had to turn sideways and squeeze past because there was a bed blocking the way, and you couldn’t just walk through. It was advertised as pet-friendly, but at the reception, they took a long time to consider it. In the end, they charged us double the pet fee – €40 instead of €20. The receipt states that the pet fee is €20, so why did we pay €40? We wanted to visit the massage area, but it was closed. The location, if you’re not driving, is far from any good spots. There’s nothing nearby, and you can’t really go for a walk in the evening. We would never come back here, 100%. I’ve attached a photo showing the room “after cleaning.

The second dinner was delicious. As for the first one, we arrived an hour before closing, but many dishes were already unavailable, and nothing was replenished for guests coming later. We didn’t come 20 minutes before closing; we came an hour before…

Unfriendly staff with unreasonably and frustratingly litte English knowledge, poor and small wellness department, sauna without plunge pool and was hard to find your way around the campus.

We came late because one of us was in the hospital. Only 15 min late. They said they wont charge for dinner cause its included. In the end they charged . The stuff wasnt pleasunt. Small rooms. Poor breakfast.
