How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

It's a bit cold in the apartment. The building is a bit old, it could do with some refreshing.
Nice apartment in an old atmosphere. Refreshed bathroom. Big plus for the washing machine in the bathroom. Kitchen equipped with all necessary things. Nice service. Very beautiful area. Large parking lot near the building. Large balcony.

The double beds were two single bed/sofas pushed together so they weren't very comfortable, not great quality.
The staff we're so friendly, and the apartment is very spacious and clean. Its great having a smart TV and the wifi was quite good.

The private storage room for the bikes are a bit small. Two bikes intented to be placed there but only one can be stored. Luckily they have a bigger room to solve the problem. This also can be locked but it is not private. Other than that this is a perfect hotel.
The hotel is located near to the Ruzomberok Bike Park. It is placed in a calm, quiet location. Perfect for sleeping after a full day of downhill mountain biking. They have a private storage room for the bikes.

Room cleaning started all day at 08:01. Annoying.
Very nice location, clean and well equipped room. Pets are allowed.

The property is little outdated, it would deserve reconstruction or refurnish. Parking is limited or little far from the hotel.
Nice are, lake, close to town. Staff is really nice and helpful.

I absolutely loved the place - we spent about a week there, 2 people and 1 dog. Rooms/apartments are clean and comfortable, packed with everything needed. Our balcony view was just fantastic. Price is cheaper comparing to many properties around. Definitely a place to stay when you are in the area.

Lovely quiet location with a beautiful view of the mountains. It was a delight to get away from the hustle and bustle of a large city and enjoy the green surroundings from our balcony. It was just a short drive to town where we were able to get some groceries and find a restaurant.

Ladies at the reception desk weren't aware that they were supposed to offer free toiletries based on booking.com reservation. In the end, I didn't get any solution to this issue. Apart from that there were no issues.
Room's amenties were very fair. Nice balcony view, clean apartment. Kitchen was well-equipped. Overall, definitely a nice experience and I recommend. :)

The accomodation is in very nice surroundings, next to a forest. There is a fast flow creek next to the apartmanhotel, therefore on that side is not completely quiet. If you are looking for that kind of tranquillity, want to leave the window open, you may better ask for a room on the other side. The room is well-equipped, the TV was smart. The skilift is very close. They have storage rooms to store skis, sledges, etc. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn't open in mid-March, but there are a few good restaurants nearby (mainly driving distance). There is a small bar in Fatrapark 1. For kids, there is a play corner in the lobby. Everybody was very friendly and helpful.

Great Breakfast, although you have to pay 9 € extra, but that's worth it. Super great for kids, play area is there and people are friendly. Perfect location-- 2 Minutes walking from the ski rentals and lift. All in all, was perfect!

There is a floor heating in the apartment, that means that there is only one small electric heater in the bathroom and it's hard to dry the clothes after whole day in the snow. Equipment in the kitchen was of low quality, old and dirty.
