How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewNice
Not was provided sponsor and cutlery, as should have everything inside. Only the last day the owner said where was. Poor
Thank you for your visit and rating. The summer kitchen with plates and cuttlery is attached to the wall of the greenhouse studio naturally from outside. We look forward to welcoming you again anytime in the future.

Verified reviewThe greenhouse is a very fun experience to spend a few nights in. The host was super friendly, the greenhouse is clean and has everything you need. Just a small walk to the city centre. I would recommend to stay here!
Thank you for your stay and the rating.

Verified reviewThis place is simply amazing, furnished with love, a lot of flowers, beautiful plants, a large terrace, and also the opportunity to spend time in the garden. Very unique, good energy. I felt great here, I didn't even want to leave. :) A great place to recover from the bustle of the old town, which is only a 25-minute walking. The place is very quiet, on a hill (beautiful, but you have to realise that you will have to climb it on the way back.) Bolt from the center ~5 euros, public transport ~800 m. from the place, but I recommend to go down by walking, the scenic path.
Thank you for your visit and your rating. You are welcomed anytime in the future again!

Verified reviewFriendly host, great location
The object is lacking some fundamental contents (like separate toilet room and a normal bed)
Thank you for your stay and the rating. Elevated bed and bathroom with toilet looks exactly as on the photos of the greenhouse / winter garden.

Verified reviewGarden Balcony Quiet
Extremely hot during daytime. Needs roof insulation. If u open all the doors and windows to cool down a million bugs come in. Needs mosquito screens for the doors. A bit dirty. The "kitchen" outside is not a kitchen. The toilet has only a visual screen. The rugs and the tablecloth were never cleaned. Weak wi-fi. The enviroment and the concept is great but needs improvements. My rating is 7 because I love nature and the house provides that and is not far from the old city, although the way is hilly.
Thank you for your visit and rating. The reed cover to block the sun was installed on the roof just after your stay as up to that period it was quit cold during whole motnh of May.

Verified reviewHalf way between a flat and camping. That may not be for everyone but it is a very unique stay for anyone who wants something a little different. The hosts are fantastic, helpful people and you will be provided with very detailed information for everything you might need on your stay. Situated in a nice, peaceful garden. It is also in a very relaxed, green and leafy spot in the hills. The walk in to the centre is great but be aware of just how steep it is of you choose to take that way back. A great local beer garden nearby. For other restaurants and any shopping you'll need to get those when you're out as there is nothing immediatly local.
Remember the type of place you are getting and that it is a bit like camping. You will be a little open to the temperature and will have to regulate hot and cold with windows / doors open or closed.
Thank you for your visit and rating.

Verified reviewThe place was unusable due to more than 40° Celsius inside temperature. We asked the owner for help but he did not take us seriously and advised us "to come back at night" - after hours and hours of driving when we just wanted to take a rest wich was not possible. Eventually we wanted to cancel and get our money back when again the owner proved uncooperative. He made us pay for half our scheduled stay when in reality we had to leave for another place very fast to get some rest. We consulted the hotline just to find out that we had no saying in the refund-negotiation. By that time the owner already took back the offer for half the refund and did not respond to any further requests for dialogue. So we lost the whole payment for two hours of sitting outside the place. It's quiet frustrating to see someone showing no leaniance whatsoever when obviously there was a misunderstanding about the condition the place is in during summer days - no warning about this at all in the description. A room that heats up to 10 Degree above outside temperature on a 30+ day should be advertised for with due transparency.
Dear Sara, we have explained all in the written communication with you in the same day and in the following days too. When going to the tent in the summer it is obvious, that the inside temperature depends on the opening and closing the doors and windows. We have asked booking to refund you, as the payment was done through the system. When we got the information that they were not able to do it few days after your departure, we have asked you by the message to send us your bank account number to refund you the second night. We are sorry that until today we didn´t get it from you.

Verified reviewReally enjoyed my stay at the Greenhouse, would certainly stay there again. Very comfortable, very relaxing, nice to be in a nice, quiet area of town, ideal if you want to get away from it but still near enough to the city centre. Very friendly and helpful host, thank you. Ideal if you are on your own and want something a bit different.
Nothing really for me was negative, for some it maybe a little too far away from the Old Town area, and to get up to the road on foot is up a steep hill, it is about 100 metres long, the start of it is just across from the Transport Museum by the road that leads up to the main railway station. There is a half hourly bus service up to the roads in the area of the Greenhouse. I walked to/from the accommodation to the Old Town, reckon it took about 15 minutes which I actually enjoyed.
Thank you for your stay and the review.
