The sloping ceiling caught me out a couple of times.

Polite and professional staff. Great location for the train and bus stations, plus access to the city. Restaurants close by. Everything was very clean and in good condition. Parking outside.

The pillow was a bit hard. It would be great if breakfast was available, even at an extra cost - it would 10 out of 10 then!

A great little hotel in an old converted house, right by the train station but very quiet inside. Very comfortable and spacious room, easy check-in even after the reception was closed. Good facilities in the room, at a standard of a 3-star hotel!

Bed sheets were a tiny bit dirty, but nothing horrible. Had a room in the attic where the ceiling is low, so it's very easy to hit your head, especially around and above the bed, and the toilet.

Very short walk away from the train station and a <15 minute walk to a shopping center. Great for short stays with all amenities that you may need, including a kettle and a mini fridge.

The flusher of the toilets WC (water closet) was partially broken, sometimes it functioned sometimes not, but I found a way arround it. There is no elevator, and while it is only one floor going up, since I had anemia and having a big lugage made the asencion slower, but that was more like my problem, I don't blame the pension. The effort was worth, since the room was comfortable and clean.

Very clean, comfortable, very kind staff - they allowed me to overstay about half an hour and to leave the luggage while taking a tour in the Trenčin fortress (worth visiting with the museum on the top) - thank you thank you so much for that! It is 3-4 minute walk from the railway station (I arrived with train from Bratislava) very easy to find. It's next to a park, lovely birds singing, 5 minutes from the city center which is next to the fortress. If I am visiting Trenčin again, I am definitevly considering booking the same place again!

The small bathroom was outdated, but functional. Mirror was too far away to be of much use.

An old European designed apartment building with a spiral staircase and lots of nooks and crannies.The room was oddly shaped which gave it a cute, quaint feeling. The single beds were perpendicular to each other her which was kind of nice. Shower had amazing water pressure.

Well, it is still pretty old pansion. You have to pick your keys yourself, there is no self check-in. Check-out is strictly at 10, which is quite early in my opinion. I had to wait a bit long for warm water in shower, and there is no way to hang showerhead. You hear your neighbours, especially if someone in floor and speak loudly.

I found not so much options to stay in Trencin, this one was the cheapest, but still too expensive for such town and hotel-class. But everything is pretty fine in this pansion. I have got cozy room with fridge, TVset, shower and comfortable bed. Auntie on the reception desk did not speak english, but our conversation was understandable, I have got my keys and paid city tax. She also let me in a bit earlier as check-in time should be, which is very kind. Location is good: you are quite close to railway station, castle, old city and big shops like Kaufland and Tesco.

Check-in times could be more flexible. The room is poorly insulated. I could hear my neighbour talking until late at night I could not sleep properly. You can also listen to people leaving early in the morning and putting their keys in the locker, which is very noisy. The wallpaper is torn, and it does not look good on the wall.

Close to the city centre, bus and train station. There is no breakfast available, but there are plenty of great food options in the city. Friendly staff, comfy bed.

All was good, maybe except for the check-in hours being a bit too strict - we could not check-in after 7 PM and no self check-in was possible.

Good contact with the hotel owner, also the hotel was looking beautiful both in the reception area and inside the room. No AC but they gave us a fan instead which was a nice touch as it was really hot. Good location and free parking available.

There is no possibility to leave luggage after check out which is 10:00. Breakfast not provided (although there is a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities in the room). Our room was in an attic so part of the room had low ceiling. No air conditioning, and when you open ceiling window to get fresh / colder air, the noise from the train station / street outside sometimes disturbed the sleep.

The location is great - within a short distance from the train / bus station, and close to the city center. It was super clean and there were tea/coffe making facilities. Check in time is from 14:00 but the staff checked with us the arrival time, and prepared the room earlier.
