I appreciate that the building is shared with other residents but the lift needs to be updated or replaced. It is very old and noisy and left me feeling nervous each time I used it for fear it might break.

I was in room 502 which has a fantastic view of the city from the fifth floor of the building. The room was much larger than I was expecting which was a real bonus. The room has a large TV with streaming options as well as standard TV channels. There is a fridge and a desk. Plenty of plug sockets included one by each side of the bed. Breakfast choice was fantastic so I always had a filling start to the day. The location is great, the presidential palace is only a few minutes walk away as is the trolleybus stop. The old town is also just a few minutes walk away. The room and bathroom are nice and modern and everything was clean and tidy.

I get this is a lot of European hotels, where I stay and that is I could slightly smell the drain from the shower. It was the same in the street, any where in the city., if you stood or sat in a street next to a drain. It was not bad enough to put me off staying there.

The elevator in the building is old and small - of course not their fault, but can be scary for claustrophobics. We were on the 5th floor.

The girls at the cafeteria seem they don’t like their job, never smiling or showing a friendly attitude, I believe part of the service business, is to provide a nice attitude, and a smile. a good morning is common sense and show politeness and basic education. They should be happier.

The staff is not very welcoming (they didnt want to process my check in 1 hour prior official check in time, however the next couple was welcomed right away) ,unfortunately, one lady (waitress) was combing her hair in the breakfast area (very disturbing)

I liked the full size bed. It was crisp and clean. The room was bright and airy and the bathroom like new. The staff was nice and helped me get my suitcase to my room. I enjoyed the interesting places nearby…loved the popsicles shop a few doors away. The sour cherry with dark chocolate coating was super ! And I loved Sudo a few steps away for the Basque cheesecake and the healthy and unique sanwiches.,

The room was at a separate entrance in the building (50yd walk). The building was a mix of private apartments and hotel rooms.

The location is very Central, the room is Clean. The Shower and toilets were good and the bed was comfortable.

Staff at the reception are not very welcoming, I found them quite cold. They didn’t even greet us when we checked out. I asked which station the train to Wien was leaving from, and they said it was the main station, but when when we arrived there we found out that it was another station. Coffee at breakfast was not my cup of tea , I prefer good coffee ! The orientation of the bed in the room was on the wrong wall so you could not see outside but I changed that myself . 6 powerpoints near the bed but only 1 at the desk

The hotel is very central orientated between the Presidential palace , Old Town , the castle and Slavin . Fast check in ! Room was nice and big . Had room 502 with a great view towards Slavin . Breakfast has plenty of variety but bit chaotic .

Lift was not working throughout our stay and our room was on the 5th floor. Room was not cleaned during our stay of 3 nights, only bin was emptied. 1 face towel for 3 people (besides of 3 big towel) seems a little strange to me.

Great location, 5 min walk from old centre. Room was spacious, beds were okay. Good breakfast, plenty of choice and variety.
