When the shower was on it flooded the bathroom floor & water headed onto the bedroom carpet.

Attended a wedding here. Food was good at lunchtime & at breakfast. It was a decent sized bedroom.

The place is smack in the middle where everything happens, but just around the corner and therefore wonderfully quiet. Parking in front, safe and free. The breakfast is beautiful, large variations and good quality, fresh. We also had dinner there and that was very nice. A great mix of traditional Slowak dishes and some other choices. We had the soups.. Try them👍

The only thing I did not like is that my room had tiny window next to the table and it didn’t have curtains so I woke up earlier because of the sunrise.

Positives: Superb staff, superb breakfast, cleanness perfect, restaurant offered great meals. Negatives: Noise from the atrium terrace at 6:00 caused by goods delivery car staff. Tea kettle was not in the apartment on the arrival, but staff brought immediately on request. Air conditioning in the bedroom did not function properly, but that of living room managed to warm up both rooms.

I liked very friendly staff and entire area of hotel also as small town Modra. It is quiet place with very good food, so my visit of friend in Pezinok hospital during few days was good for him, I hope, and me too :-)

I seem to recall there was a slight smell in the corridor leading up to my room which wasn't great... it smelt of drains or something. But it wasn't a problem. You couldn't smell it inside the room. I think the hotel also upgraded my room for me probably because it was quiet due to the time of year - good business move if so. It was a really nice room. Thank you.

Beautiful hotel and great value. The breakfast was nice but I didn't know what I was ordering. That was my fault! I need to learn Slovak. I just pointed at the menu and the girl brought me something. lol.

The staff - they are very passive and seem to "not care" about your needs. When I asked about wines served in the restaurant, the waitress did not know where they are from - and she even did not bother to go and check the labels. I had to go to the bar myself to look on the bottles (crazy thing: they only have a few wines to sell by glass - and they are not very high quality and come from different wine regions - this is completely not understandable when running a hotel in the heart of a wine region with many wineries just round the corner!) They often just sit aside and don´t care if you have any needs or wishes. Also what I did not like is this hotel is popular for wedding parties over the weekends - this makes a lot of noise which comes into hotel rooms. They should not sell rooms to guests if they have a weeding party on.

Hotel is very nice and well maintained. It has a great restaurant - you get very good meals for reasonable prices (compared to standard in the area) - kudos to the chef! Location is good - in the centre of the wine region.

Exceptional in any way! Historical building in the center of Modra, rooms with soul, cozy and comfortable. Great breakfast buffet in beautiful dining room with paintings dedicated to ceramics production in the region and so the whole style of the place. Authentic private ceramic workshop in the same street. One of those hotels that stay in the memory forever.

the rooms were terrible.. holes in the door, holes in the floor. they put us for high price in rooms that clearly were not ready to be used… they were nothing like on pictures when I was doing the booking few months back. in one of the rooms was terrible smell that even an open window didn’t help to get rid of… plus they charged us 2 additional breakfasts which we didn’t have
