Rooms minibar was switching on very often making noise frequently. Visible switch on/off would be usefull.

Very good hotel, clean and well maintained with nice mountain vibe. Friendly Staff. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Beer for a fair price in their bar. I was able to arrive with my car just next to the hotel (reservation required). It's not cheap but location make it worth.

Location location location. It is very beautiful place to stay. We stay there before going to Gerlach. It is quite expensive but stuff was very helpful and perfect spot to start our adventure. All the facilities very good.

Only a small complaint that the shower in the room could be a little better. I got water everywhere but that might be more of a me problem than the hotel!

Everyone was super friendly and the wellness centre healed us from our wounds ob the hike! The food for breakfast and dinner was excellent!

A good hotel, in a beautiful place. The rooms are a bit small though. Very suitable for people who like to walk in the mountains. The scenery is beautiful, a lake, a waterfall. Many thanks to the girl at the reception who waited for our late arrival. I recommend staying at least for a day.

This hotel managed to hire the nicest persons in the world. Flawless English, absolutely friendly and helpful. Every single contact with a staff member was a delight. Buffet both breakfast and dinner - you will definitely gain weight, everything is delicious!

No aircon in the bedroom and having to pay £15 a day for the car park is quite the joke, with the cost of the accomadation - you would expect it to cover the parking, granted the location is perfect along with the services at the hotel, with it being 4* to make the cost worthwhile still.

Had a mishap with a t-shirt through my own mistake, which was chemically damaged whilst travelling - and the housekeeping did their best to help recover it, the fact that they went out of their way to try and help, was dearly appreciated.

Probably the biggest dislike was the mattress on double bed. Sadly there were two single person mattres, what's not much comfortable ( between two mattress is hole 🫡). Some of staff act arrogant from my point of view. I understand it's 4* hotel, but in mountains not all hikers wear Gucci shoe ( but yes, it's not problem of hotel, but problem of people who going to mountains like on bday party).

We had the superior room for two. The room was nice and clean. Shower also big and clean. The younger guy on reception was very friendly and helpful. The biggest like was the vegan option on breakfast. On breakfast were many options for people with specifics diets and also board with all allergens ( thank you 🙏 finally someone understand how important it is ). Overall we were pretty satisfied 🙂

Somewhat stranded due to road access and limited parking at the hotel, getting shuttle rides back to town needed to be planned in advance and subject to short notice change.

All around excellent, everything you need for a nice stay. Wellness facility nice, loved the steam room. Full bar, nice restaurant, comprehensive breakfast.

They should offer more frequent shuttles up and down from the parking lot. We had to wait hours both on the way up and the way down. This waiting takes valuable time away from our vacation.

There is a problem with parking place in Tatranská polianka. Previous year there was special locked parking for hotel guests in order to transfer via bus to the hotel. This year we had to leave our car in open parking where there was hardly any place. Interesting what we could do with our car in case the parking would be full and we came quite late evening. Access to the very hotel is blocked and you need to use hotel bus and that is ok as it is national park but hotel in fact does not provide you with normal parking in tatranska polianka in order to transfer to bus. Another issue is that in rooms from backyard exhausts from kitchen smell quite strongly as if ventillation is not good enough. Last inconvenience is that for vegetarians there is hardly to find anything in menu. Besides all was ok especially location and views.
