The hotel offers a quiet retreat from the bustling season towns, its location is fantastic as it's a 30 minute pleasant walk to Tatranska Lomnica and there are trails nearby so it's possible to go hiking without having to drive. The bed was comfortable and every night I had a good rest. Breakfasts and dinners were always very tasty and there was a variety of dishes to choose from. The service was super polite and the staff were very helpful. I will definitely return to the hotel, I loved my stay there.

My review is based on the price versus value. This is a 3-star hotel situated in a prime location, hidden from the noise but close to the town. The facilities are good, though they could use some updates. The service is pleasant, and the people at the bar were exceptionally friendly. They are truly pet-friendly, and the environment feels very homey and welcoming. The food was nice as well, adding to the overall enjoyable experience.

Nothing in particular. I was only missing more electrical sockets in the room ;-) and there is probably no hairdryer.

Traditional hotel, ideal for retro lovers, but all is functional, clean and well maintained, wonderful location and views, perfect start point for hiking. You can feel like time almost stopped here, but in a good, sentimental way. Buffet dinner (which is included) is simple, but good, local, homemade style and taste. Same for breakfast. A lot of things to do for children, apparently quite family hotel for longer and holiday stays, which is nice and participate to this specific mountain hotel atmosphere. Free large parking + I forgot some small electronics in my room and they were so kind to find it and send it to me by mail, great great :-) thanks to all the staff and their professional attitude!

The hotel is somehow old, was (expected) retro for me but for others may be a bit obsolete. The breakfast should definitely be improved (soft drinks and coffee not good, missing basics like bacon and scrambled eggs).Room and balcony were quite small but manageable.

I stayed with my elderly father and his sister, the hotel in general fulfilled our expectations. Rooms were clean, dinners were quite OK (selection from 3 different meat options, a dessert). Staff supportive. Hotel fulfilled our wish, granted us connected rooms with beautiful mountain view.

Despite many positives, there were some aspects of the hotel that could be improved. Communication in the restaurant was a struggle due to the English proficiency of the staff, but I managed to navigate the situation. The breakfast menu felt limited and could benefit from more variety to cater to different preferences. In the rooms, there should be more sockets for charging devices and this forced me to buy an extension cable. While the interiors were nice, some modernization would elevate the overall experience. The exclusion of the sauna from the room price felt like a missed opportunity but wasn't a deal-breaker for me. Overall, these minor setbacks didn't take away from the exceptional location and the enjoyable amenities of this hotel. While some updates and attention to detail could enhance the stay further, the hotel's charm and unique offerings make it a recommendable choice for anyone visiting High Tatras. The combination of natural beauty, helpful staff, and enjoyable facilities creates a memorable stay with room for improvement.

My vacation in High Tatras found the perfect backdrop in this hotel which is located within the breathtaking landscapes of High Tatras in Slovakia. The location was nothing short of amazing, offering the best views of my vacation, including the stunning Lomnický štít. The ample parking added to the convenience, and I never had to worry about space. The hotel staff were great, friendly, and quite helpful with excellent recommendations for my trip, enhancing my experience. Although language was a barrier with the restaurant staff, I found the food choices satisfying with some delightful meals. The hotel pool stood out as a fantastic feature, allowing me a refreshing swim every day, despite the chilly weather outside. The size of the pool and the opportunity to swim added a fun dimension to my stay. While some parts of the hotel felt outdated, the overall atmosphere was enjoyable, and I appreciated the unexpected bowling alley. Even though I didn't get to try the sauna, knowing it was an option added to the appeal of the place. My vacation in High Tatras was enriched by the hotel's offerings, and I would recommend it for a short or long stay.

The location was very peaceful. The hotel was very clean. Breakfast and Dinner were great. The pet fee was 10 euro a night, sauna access was 10 euro per person and a full body massage was 18 euro.

Drinking water only on breakfast, something absolutely new for me. Any other time you have to buy it even for dinner. I dont mention any tea or coffee which were also available only during breakfast. The hotel itself reminds of Soviet Union by stuff and view and facilities. Empty rooms: you get only towels, shower gel and soap, dust on the bed's head, dust web everywhere. Once after cleaning it was clear that no one really cleaned the bathroom. No soundproof at all and this is an extremely family hotel. All the time when you're in the room you feel like somebody is jumping on your head, or hear children screams all the time. Spa means 2 saunas, swimming pool is clean and nice, but you get there long way through cold hallways. Massage also reminds about Soviet. Like in an old hospital. A lot of gypsies. Everywhere. And they behave exactly the way gypsies behave

The bedsheets had dried blood spots and a palm sized yellow spot on arrival. For this, they promised a discount. We didn't ask for it, just clean sheets, they offered it. In the end though, they didn't mention it, so when I asked about it, they told us they can't, since we booked on booking.com, but we could get some "'gifts" (they didn't elaborate, we didn't ask what kind of gifts"). I asked if we can get the bar (3 beers and 1 juice) and bowling (1h) for free. In the end we got the bowling as a gift. The TV remote had a nail stuck between the remote body and buttons. As we noticed it 2 days after our arrival, I didn't mention it at the reception. At the diner, 1 out of 15 plates had some kind of spots on them. The table covers were not changed while we were there. The food is not really replenished, eg. hard boiled eggs were gone at 8 a.m. (breakfast is served from 7 a.m.. No electric plug beside the bed.

The room had great view, parking is good, the rooms are nicely soundproofed, and comfortable. Even though the hotel is pet friendly, and there were some people with dogs, we couldn't hear it. The elevators are fast, the bowling is good. Staff doesn't really speak english, but try to help you getting around. The older man from the kitchen is very friendly. The swimming pool was closed, but we got vouchers to use in the Sorea Titris hotel, which we enjoyed very much. The food was ok.

The pillows in the room and extremally big and hard, impossible to sleep on. There was no spare pillows like we have seen in other hotels. We went for skiing and all their roads and parking were covered in frozen ice and snow, even hard to walk on. They do not have a plower to clean the roads. They were covered in ice and dip potholes, and even after a night of snowing, they did not plow or do anything to clean the roads. Cars would have to use all kind of tricks to pull out of a parking lot. Because the cars created tire wide deep paths in the middle of the roads, it was really dangerous when you have to pass incoming traffic. We noticed is a trend in the whole city not to clean the roads of ice. We were disappointed in this regard.

The hotel is nice and clean, offering an indoor pool, bowling, billiard and ping-pong gaming rooms. The breakfast and dinner is buffet style and is was acceptable. Nothing wow. Dinning drinks are extra.

Good location in the heart of High Tatras. Tasty food with fair selection (breakfast and dinner). Hotel is located in quiet area, great for relax and hiking with beautiful view to the mountains especially Lomnicky Stit.
