It is a magnificent manor house built in the renaissance style with a stylish interior and historical furniture that shows a piece of slovak history. I recommend to everyone who likes something exceptional.

During stay sauna was under repair, by selecting hotels this was main factor. After skiing wanted to use. Nobady inform in advance. The light near bed was not working. TV very small size.

Breakfast was tasty and good, also the possibility to order from the menu. Nice, and warm attention from stuff. Clean.

Very comfortable beds. Breakfast had all its needed and no stomach problems after. Dinner in restaurant was OK - burger meat is clearly frozen meat, but veggies were very tasty.

In the room WiFi was not working properly, was very slow and connection was lost. Bed mattress were old and soft.

All was good, maybe just few improvements: 1. The lack of iron on the room 2. At the night heating was much lower which led to feeling cold closer to the morning 3. As the hotel is usually used by ski riders, would be nice to have something to put closes to dry on

Absolutely fabulous, nice staff, clean and beauty room. The food was excellent and suberb. The surrounding is charming, lovely creek, pretty houses, gorgeous mountains.

Great place for a few days vacation in the montains. There is a nice Kada with thermal spring nearby, we were bathing in it every day. The hotel has a kind of elegancy feeling, with nice furniture at the reception, rooms and restaurant. Breakfast is good. We liked the option for half board very much. Wellness is also great.

The hotel is nice with his own character, however slightly dated and we found some of the pictures on corridor bit creepy.

Despite many positives, my experience was not without some issues. While I loved the reception staff's friendly attitude, the restaurant staff seemed somewhat less attentive. Their approach gave off a bit of grumpy feeling, which was slightly off-putting during my meals. Additionally, the breakfast service was less than prompt, with delays in replenishing the buffet. This aspect could certainly be improved to enhance the overall dining experience.

My brief stay at Hotel Svatojansky Kastiel was a memorable experience, leaving me wishing for at least one or two more nights. The location, nestled in a peaceful setting, had a magnetic charm, and the hotel's welcoming atmosphere enhanced my travel experience. I was particularly struck by the unique blend of retro elegance and modern aesthetics in the decor, which carried through to the rooms. The reception staff were truly commendable, offering friendly service and providing excellent recommendations that made my short stay richer. The rooms were good, meeting my expectations in terms of comfort and cleanliness. Their modern touch combined with a fancy feel added to the charm. I indulged in the hotel's wellness amenities, finding the jacuzzi particularly relaxing, a perfect way to unwind. The dinner was solid, reflecting the high-quality meals and evident care in preparation. Even the breakfast, despite a minor delay in replenishment, tasted quite good. The overall experience left me wanting to explore more, feeling both cozy and luxurious, and certainly warrants a longer stay in the future.The hotel's beautiful decor, peaceful location, and well-appointed rooms offered good value for money. I happily recommend this hotel to others, and I hope to return for a more extended stay to fully appreciate all it has to offer.

We stayed 18-23 Feb 2023. Special thanks to Alexandra for the flexibility and hospitality shown during our stay. We were 5 families with kids and we felt like the place is our own. I understand restaurant menu is limited to make sure there is always fresh good food. Just as a suggestion more salad option can be added.
