There are not enough words to describe how incredible our stay was. My mom is originally from Medzilaborce (Čertizné) and had not been back to visit family in 20 years. We decided to stay at Typton hotel based off family recommendations. It did not disappoint. We had the apartment, and if it fits within your budget, I highly recommend it. We were three adults (my parents, myself, and my three small children 9,7,and 5 years of age). The apartment gave us space so we did not feel cramped. The kids had beautiful comfortable beds, plenty of area to play and relax in while everyone got ready, amazing kitchen to warm up meals, spacious bathroom with a tub and shower (super helpful for bathing the little ones). My parents are in their 70s, and struggle with back and knee problems but they were incredibly comfortable. We spent all day out with family but it was so nice to return to the hotel and have a space that felt like home. The staff were amazing. AMAZING! The manager of the hotel, was so professionally. You could tell that this was not just a job to him, but a part of his reputation, and one that he is incredibly proud of. When we heard that my mom was returning home after 20 years away, he brought flowers, a welcome fruit basket, and treats for the kids. We are already planning a return trip and will only stay at the Typton.

Nice room with lots of space. Comfortable beds, large restroom and a shower cabin. The place is really quite and is recommended for travelers to have a rest and reboot. Restaurant works till 22:00 which is very helpful for those who arrive late (exactly my case)

Everything was perfect with the hotel, however if you arrive a bit late all the shops in the city are closed.

Everything was perfect. We had a wonderful stay after a long day of driving. Sad that we couldn't stay more and experience the spa as well. The staff was very helpful, the breakfast delicious, the room extremely clean and confortable and we had everything we need in the room.

The breakfast selection may be too narrow for some, but for us, it had everything we needed. The bacon was a bit more salty than ideal. But the coffee was more than great.

Everything. It was good to see a project where you could see that they not only purchased expensive stuff to make a hotel, but a lot of thought went into it. The staff was also great. I could see that they were building other parts of the plot, but that did not bother our stay at all. I hope the place can continue developing this project, because they are on the right track to create something really great.

Noting about the stay or hotel was unlikeable. Disappointingly the Andy Warhol museum was closed during my visit.

Great experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food at both the buffet style breakfast and a la carte at the restaurant for lunch / super was good and fairly priced. I did not use the pool or sauna. Both were open and in good condition, I just didn’t take the time to use them.

It is really hard to find something negative. Maybe wall between rooms are thin, so I heard that some lady took a shower at 1am and then 15 mins spent with drying her hair. But anyway, there is nothing wrong with this hotel. Definetely worth to visit.

Great modern hotel in the center of Medzilaborce, just cross the street from Andy Warhol Art Museum. Free parking. Free wifi (now works with iOS as well). Great staff. Tasty food (dinner/breakfast). Nice big and comfy room. I will be back soon.

Good addition to Medzilaborce. Hotel is well furnished , very clean. Staff were great- polite, professional and very accommodating. Hotel is located right across the street from the Museum, which would have been great, had the Museum been open 😀 We had lunch at the hotel couple of times and enjoyed our food. Keep up the good work! About time we got something nice in ML

The only dislike I had was that there is no full length mirror in my room. For me it is a part of my daily routine and is crutal to my choice in outfits. But this is a personal issue.

We loved the staff how welcoming and helpful they are. They all spoke English and were genuinely happy as a whole. The room was so beautiful and very clean. Medzilaborce is such a beautiful place and worth a visit. My boyfriend was a local and he was very comfortable there.

Free wifi does not operate on iOS devices, other operation systems have no problem. There is kettle in the room, but no cups nor coffee/tee.

There was kettle in the room but we couldn't find tea/coffee .
