Amazing location and easy going check in and stay

Good localisation, parking on site 10 euro extra , clean beds..

No hot water, smell of cigarets in the room, old equipment, old bathroom with lackage of water, noice from the Road, Windows covered wirh external courtin- no visability. You cannot pay by card..

The location was great, we were allowed the leave out bags at the hotel early whilst we explored the local area. The price was great too. Location was amazing. If you're looking to stay near the high Tatras, the I would definitely recommend this place. Easy to access some great hiking routes around the area. We got a taxi from Popard for about 20 euros.

The room could have been a little bit cleaner but nothing too bad. Just some food was left in the fridge.

Very good location

Cosy and clean. Old building but i realy liked it. And it's practicly in the centre so you can hike to mountains from that place without driving closer. Appartment that we rented was comfy and clean.

Not at all

Guy lied about price, and only corrected it after I caught it. I reached out for directions prior to arrival and received no answer. The sheets were dirty - They had hair in them. There was no warm water. The booking.com app page stated they’d contact me in advance after charging my card for the first night; That never happened. I was startled to arrive after a 8 hour day of travel to find out they required cash. The guy was rude. Upon trying to convey my concerns, I received no response. In fact, I didn’t receive a response on the app until after I left. Instead of taking accountability for the uncleanliness and lack of warm water, he responded with zero interest in acknowledging my concerns. Despite booking.com stating I’d receive a refund, the owner has stalled stating they’d get back to me via booking.com in 5 days. It’s been over a month and despite a resolution being listed on the app, I am still waiting. The page suggests this location is a hostel, but it is the least friendly, unclean, and rude accommodation I’ve ever experienced. Usually, hostels have a community feel—Not so here; He stays behind a locked, windowless door and did not answer. I use booking.com regularly and have traveled extensively. Nothing compares to this all around negative experience. Do not stay here.

This place is the best for low budget hikers who want to stay the closest to the hills. Best price and value. Do not expect a hotel style but if you looking for a simply and comfortable place this is for you. The private and the common baths and the kitchen are fine.
