Reviews of Hotel Veverica 3 stars

First, the location is great if you want peace, nature and tranquility. I remember waking up during the night and only thing I could hear were birds and rain and it was really relaxing. The rooms were quite nice, cosy and comfortable. The centre of Trenčin is just 15 minutes walk away.

This hotel had a lodge-like feel. It was located up a bit in the town hills, next to a park, and surrounded by trees, stars, and fresh air. The pizza in the hotel restaurant was yummy and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to have a beer with our pizza next to the fireplace in the restaurant after our long trip. Very much appreciated.

Our only friendly feedback is that the pillows were very soft and went flat when you're sleeping. We prefer firm pillows, which are hard to find in Europe. We also prefer at least two big pillows each. If you're a side-sleeper, it's hard to get a good night's sleep with the soft European feather pillows. The only other feedback is the detachable shower head was mounted very low. It was still useable by detaching and washing with one hand, but we thought that was odd.

loved the location and the spacious room, the staff were very friendly and called us for details of check in (as we were a little delay) and gave us good recommendations for the rest of our trip

the breakfast price we felt should have been included but this was our error on booking.

Some minor things like tap having a bit of leak, no tea making facilities but overall trip was great and would come back again in the future.

Beautiful design (boutique) hotel located in nature near Trenčín Castle, spacious design rooms, comfortable, fantastic kitchen - lunches, dinners. Very friendly staff, wonderful receptionist. Nice restaurant in garden.

There is no mobile signal and wifi sometimes drops. Small and less varied breakfast (8 euros), sweet pastries and more fruit are missing, you have to pay extra for better coffee.

Close to the nature, big rooms, nice staff, parking included.

Not the cleanest (stains on the toilet seat).

Wonderful location, friendly and helpful staff and exceptional cuisine. Overall enjoyable experience.
