Vila Zvonica is probably the best place I have stayed in so far in the High Tatras region. Michal and his family are amazing hosts, extremely welcoming and hospitable. The accommodation itself is high quality and feels brand new. Location is also perfect as the local train is walking distance providing access to most of the hiking trails. I strongly suggest to consider Vila Zvonica as perfect alternative to more crowded Stary Smokovec or Lomnica. Definitely coming back on the next occasion!

the host is an exceptionally friendly and helpful guy. Plus, I was not aware of the well stocked whisky, gin and rum lounge and the wine cellar. We didn't have the use the car at all after parking it upon our arrival, the property is 5 minutes walk from a mountain railway station, so we could get around the High Tatras without worrying about parking or access at any of the locations. Highly recommended!.

Everything, it was our 2nd time here and we are fully satisfied. A perfect place to stay in winter with friends, have a dinner in a cozy room, drink wine, play bollards, perfect!

It was a little bit hot on the first floor, but we opened the windows and it was good.

The interior is perfect, it’s the best place to stay in the mountains. Everything is close. You have everything to relax after long skiing day: perfect shower, a clean bed, a kitchen with everything you may need, two rooms with wine and alcohol to relax, etc. We didn’t try the sauna, but will definitely choose this place for more than 1-day stay next time.

Clean, cosy and close to the mountains. Many activities you can have at the property after a day spent outdoors, like sauna, jacuzzi, relaxing in the garden, reading a book, playing pool and more. Might be important during winter - after turning on the heating, the room gets warmed up quickly.

This was my second stay (because I really enjoyed my first stay) and once again - an extraordinary experience which would not be possible without the passionate approach of the host. I travel frequently and I have stayed at numerous locations and this place rates among the very top on my all time list. It is a very nice and cozy place with spacious common area that has a fire place, homy decorations, jacuzzi, sauna, pool table, whiskey bar, wine bar. Almost anything you can think of is there. The breakfast with home made warm strudel in addition to wide variety of hams, sausages, cheese, bread, yogurt, vegetables, eggs, jams, freshly baked bread...etc. simply all the great stuff. And the host - Michal was super nice and helpful in every aspect of our stay. Thank you and I am sure I'll be back because this place and the host are truly outstanding.

We only stayed for a couple of days but this is one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. A very beautiful house, equipped with mind, soul and taste. Very responsive and hospitable owner. For an additional cost, you can use the sauna, bar and vinotheque equipped in the house. Close to the resort Tatranska Lomnica, by car 7 minutes, or you can use the train in 5 minutes walk. I recommend!!
